I'll post some pics here in the next few days when the weather is better and will get it outside. Why are you only interested in an 01? What about a 92 or 94. They really aren't very expensive 190k. Just found one 94 silver on black with 12k miles. What year did you own? Did u have a lot of problems?
i owned a 94 vt and 98 sv didnt have the sv a long time vt i did was a great car no major problems put alot of miles on the car.if your going to get into an earlier diablo 94 and up imo great exprience i had with both but prefer vt awd over the sv
The $157k was the high bid, but not the actual "buy price" as there is a 5% ($5k) fee, so the actual sale price was $162k, which is very strong for (even a little high) for a non-US model with a bit of a story.
Agrteed its a good price. About 255 off peak for a Tr. Amazing these cars fetch such a premium over a testarossa.
Same car would have fetched over 180k a year or so ago...so whilst it a strong sale i would disagree about being a strong sale but i guess in the end we are saying the same thing. Its a pretty high price for that car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nat I just called autosport designs and asked about their red 1992 with 22k miles. Brandon their was aware of the bat car and said his is in better condition. As a point of reference I asked him if he would match the sale price at 162k. It's a consignment car and he said he will ask the owner and get back to me. It might be a car you would at least want to go look at if he shows some movement on the price.
Yes i would- the one for 175k right? Its almost the same as the one on BaT- dont know its history though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes that's correct. I'm just trying to feel him out right now. He says it was recently serviced with last service records. He's going to call me back today. I told him I was interested.
It wasn't a Euro car, it was a North American car for Canada, which basically means no mouse belts. The story is what the story was. Looked like a nice car to me, especially with the 2018 service.
Posted pics of the car inside my warehouse. Not good weather right now here. Go to testarossa pic thread
For a 512tr to get all the money it needs to be a documented low mile 94. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
NAt, So Brandon just got back to me today on the red 1992. He was very straightforward first of all no games. He said that the seller would be willing to sell it at 162k because they are both aware of the most recent sale on BAT. They won't go any lower. The major service was done 150 miles ago back in 2015. A car collector bought the car about 5 years ago and only put 1,000 miles on the car. The tires were also replaced during the major service so they are new as well. Just for more info, the black car they are willing to get down in the 130k range to sell it as it will need paint to be perfect or just have as a good driver but it sounds like it is due soon for a major. Hope this helps. If you decide to go look at it let me know I may be interested in going with you as I would like to see the cars as well. Hope this helps in your search. These cars are at least worth looking at depending on what you want to spend.
Thanks a lot! Actually the black one needs a major, a paint job, a tubi so in addition to preferring red i am thinking that u need easy 20-25k in this one and i am not sure how a paint job would be received. Additionally it seems to have 355 wheels as so at the door its the price of the red one. I may very well go see it. I shall PM you if i go (i am on the east coast these days but will be back to The bay in the next year for some business opportunities and to enjoy our great roads!!) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Just finished bidding at RM for that not auper original black 512 with 10k Miles... i bid up to 140k car sold at 155k Similar to the BAT TR, and a few i seen here in Florida. The 14k miles red tr with luggage did not sell at 105 . Reserve not met. See screenshots (tr result is lot 221 under the carrera gt) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’m relieved to see the red TR didnt sell at 105k. From what we’ve seen the last few months I’m surprised it even got to $105k. The luggage wasnt in great shape and the interior looked a bit old, but not bad. Id have expected it to sell for less than $100k. No mention of how many owners or past service history either.
Yes the interior didn’t look great to me, and also the color was not something really nice, it was an off brown, I am not sure if that was original or dyed. The luggage is one of this that MIGHT help to sell a car against an identical other option. But I don’t think it actually commands a lot of value, only to a flawless example as a cherry on top. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1991-ferrari-testarossa-7/ Paging BLKDIABLO33!!! Tr not going down? 5k car from a friend of enzo... no more than 110k? Been for sale for a while at 179k ...no one wanted to bid more than 110k! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Car has no mileage and hasnt had the service since 2015 meaning will be expensive to drive if you want to drive it. Canadian car. Ugly ass NON original interior. I’m happy to see it went for $110k pre-premium
I think u are biased Ur car has non original wheels and u didnt have a service u said, yet u paid 97k if i am not mistaken? Tease aside; trust me; i LOVE the TR and i been on both side of the fence and they are hard to sell but so beautiful! I didn’t like that car’s interior as well though. $96k. But again, the interior on that car plus being canadian clearly hurt it. People right now clearly didnt care whose car it was. For whatever it’s worth I dont care whose car it was at this time in my life. I believe TR prices are $80-120k right now and that this car fit well into that price range. And I have the original wheels with original TRX tires sitting in my garage
Wait isn't this that famed Ferrari Gurus car? I'm pretty sure he had that same color combo with the boxer style seats in it. Can't remember his name off of the top of my head. I remember it was auctioned off a few years ago when he died.
