    Didn’t wear anything fun, but I did play with a watch today. A while back I got her a 69173 and put a silver diamond dial and a sapphire & diamond bezel on it.
    Today I got the silver diamond dial swapped out for a sunburst cobalt diamond dial.
    Gave it to her tonight.

    Honey! Thank you for the watch! Now I have one with a silver dial and one with a blue dial. :oops: Btw, it looks like there's some stretch on the bracelet. Time to get it tightened.

    Pulled my zero-jewels 1971 Timex Marlin out of the watch box today. A "survivor" (thanks to a 30 year slumber). Haven't worn it since summer.

    Nice to wind it up, put it on and hear it tick. It is such a crude thing, it winds with such a crunchiness. Frequency is low. They say that they have a huge mainspring to overcome all the mechanical friction. Clack, clack, clack. Love it.

    The irony is that it keeps remarkably accurate time.

    Another German. It has an inner rotating bezel, so it can do three time zones. A great travel watch that doesn’t get attention other than from horology geeks.
