    Help me out here. Other than your say-so, how do any of us know that this isn’t just a chunk of stone veneer that fell off the side of your garage?

    Not accusing you of any deception, and I have no reason to distrust you, just looking for some way to assure myself. What assures us that this is the genuine article?

    Yes, I agree a COA would be nice, since I obtained these myself and did not purchase them I do not have one, I can for what its worth, write up a letter of authenticity about it and my obtaining it and include that. unfortunately thats the best I can do. I have my piece and gave pieces to my children and a close friend, this one has been sitting on the shelf for years. and just though I would post to see if anyone would want/enjoy it .

    Unfortunately it does come down to my word, but anyone who has been to the site or has knowledge should be able to confirm it is authentic. That is the best I have.

    Definitely on the right track there!

    Some years back, this guy I knew around town bought a 1st edition of Playboy magazine on eBay for a little over $1000. This was back around 1999 as I remember. We all thought he was nuts to pay that much for it. That is, until about a month later, we heard that he actually knew one of the security guards at the Playboy Mansion; he slipped him the magazine and they snapped a photo of Mr. Hefner autographing the cover.

    Then he turned around and re-sold it on eBay for more like $10,000

    We weren't laughing so much about it after that...
