It's good to finally get the overheating issues fixed on the 308. Its the best it's ever ran heating wise. Did spot Adrian in a 308 though. Obviously not used to the power.. lol
great morning drive, cheers Steve it was a proper treat driving your 308, bit spooky when that big turbo spools up mind you, excellent fun indeed [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
What was the cause of the overheating problems and how did you identify each of those problems ? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
It was trapped air in the cooling system from the the thermostat to the radiator. I used an no spill oil funnel to burp the air out. It took about 30mins to get all the air out and I also replaced the thermostat while I was at it. I let it idle in the sun and a few revs for about 45mins and it never went over 195. Driven today also by Adrian as well and in traffic never went over 195. Runs great now
Ahh yep, plenty for a novice like myself I did however push mine slightly in 2nd coming off the motorway (“I had no idea it went so fast in second gear officer,no I wasn’t looking at my speedo” )on to the northern rd and yes you guessed it [emoji849]I got a ticket [emoji612] but what the heck I’ve had a pretty good run for 18 months [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app

Indeed, I’m sure if we were in Italy the officer would have politely asked me to slow down with a wink [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Thanks Adrian. Perfect weather today. 30 and sunny. The car is fine to drive and in fact drives better now than it ever has. However, the beeping issue has not been resolved. Apparently it’s beyond the grasp of every single Ferrari expert on the planet. Anyway, I’ve enjoyed two great days of driving and I’m away next week until Feb so it can sit in the garage till then. Glad yours is going well, although bummer about the ticket. (The new Moretti??)
My old BB had trapped air once, drove me nuts. This procedure is what I followed http://www.birdman308.com/service/coolant/coolant_bleed.htm
Yeah those blenders didnt work to well I tried that first but the no spill filler worked the best. Best $55 spent the amount of air that came out was amazing to watch
