Wow. Huge mistake by Mullen on 4th down. A gift for the Bears who played like ****. Bears 14, Robbie Gould 9.
Pitt is the new Ravens - all mouth, no results on the field. Baltimore wins next week, and as long as Indy and Tennessee don't tie, Pitt is golfing the week after
Ben's big mouth, and Brown's antics are the reason Pitt are major under achievers. If they spent all that energy on the field instead, they'd go undefeated. Tomlin deserves blame as well for not reeling that nonsense in. Too bad, what a waste of a good roster.
Likewise. He seems a likable young man. Reminds me of Steve Howe, the baseball pitcher. Hopefully, he doesn't meet an early demise, done in by his demons...T
Correct. See my post above. 3 things have to happen for Pitt to make the playoffs: 1) Pitt win 2) Baltimore loss 3) Tie between Indy-Ten
Eek! Didn't see point #3 in the story I skimmed last night. Two tied games all year, which I think is relatively a lot. Good luck with that...T
Statistically, I think they're last. Since Hunt was dropped, they've dipped from roughly 40 per game to roughly 30 per game, which with their D, is enough to lead to their recent struggles...T
The more times I watch the hit Clowney laid on Foles I still don't get the roughing the passer penalty. Aboslutely zero helmet to helmet and I keep hearing he put his head down. So the **** what! He didn't hit him in the head. At this point just say the QB can't be hit. It's pathetic. And we see hits and calls just like it week after week. The league needs to figure this **** out.
I was listening to that game while driving, Texans feed, and the best they could guess was that Clowney have him a little extra "sauce" on the end of the tackle, rolling over him, driving him into the ground. Haven't seen the video yet, but listening to the CBS radio guys, it sounded pretty lame...T
I must correct myself. There are 2 scenarios for Pitt to make the playoffs; 1) Pitt wins and Baltimore loses If Baltimore wins: 2) Pitt wins and Indy-Ten end in a tie
Your are 100% right. The RTP rule this year is what the catch rule was last year; ambiguous, inconsistent, and infuriating as well as frustrating
It was atrocious last night. A number of times they had Seattle on 3rd and longer than 10 yards yet they don't know how to tackleband Seattle would get a 1st down. It was embarrassing and looked far from a pro defense.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/dj-swearinger-released-by-redskins-after-criticizing-defensive-coordinator-greg-manusky/ar-BBRoEdh?OCID=ansmsnnews11 I see he wore his welcome in Washington now too. He needs an ego check.
Vance is definitely out and who knows who else. You never hear Von Miller's name brought into discussion much this season. Another team that does it every year. Big talk and then drop.
Glad to see the Raiders produce in what might be their last game in Oakland. The city is stupid for not seeing the asset the Raiders and their fans are and not doing everything possible to accommodate them. The team has legitimate complaints since the Coliseum has become a dump. If the Raiders leave, will there be any reason for anyone to ever visit Oakland?
