Hi all, Goodbye and Hello need some time becaue after selling the blumontecarlo the search went a little bit longer. I loved the 512TR and traded it in for the 308 GTB blumontecarlo which was good but at least and unfortunately not good enough and i ended up finally to regret the sale of the 512TR but couldn‘t bought it back because the car ended up in a great collection. So i started to search after a 308 GTB again... https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/goodbye-512-tr-hello-308-gtb.509894/ Over a year later i found this car, which ended up for sale and i bought it some weeks ago and again a rare color combo, one of my favorite colors and a really rare interior. Here we go, second round 308 GTB and this time it will be a keeper! One owner car, 12.650 sunshine km and first paint! Christian!!! You had made the blue car so nice it is unimaginable how this car could be better. Is it just the color of the new car that is better for you? Irregardless of the reason, congratulations.
Congrats! And welcome home. I also had a 512TR then found that the 308 GTB is more classic and fun for me. Please post more pics of that beautiful interior!
One owner, low mileage and first paint! The blu was re-painted in average quality with bad details and some other things which screwed me up. In the end it was not the car i looked for and i gave away a perfect 512TR for the blu and it was finally a bad deal for me and a very good one for the dealer... The oro chiaro is a survivor with patina and very orginial and it is the 308 GTB i looked for... Yes i made the blu one better because it had very bad details which got a new lease on life! As an example the suspension! The oro chiaro looks very very good and that is impressive because it is still untouched...
This was the blu one, not bad and the calipers were refreshed but bushing were destroyed, all over cheap black paint and under the paint rust... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is the oro chiaro, Konis and brake hoses came new some years ago but the rest is original condition, never rebuild... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very good. You have my approval now. If one owner kept the car all those years it means they loved it. It makes a difference.
But beside the condition, it is the history of the oro chiaro car which really kicked me, the dealer were i bought the car is Uwe Meissner from Modena Motorsport, he bought the car from the first owner in 2014 and never registered it and only did service work and service drives with it and store it for the next owner and he was the one who worked for Auto Becker in the 70ties and he worked on the car when new and he made the german registration for the first owner and know the car since day one!
WOW! Perfect! Being rust-free is a major difference even if it is just cosmetic surface rust. My car had only one prior owner too, but my suspension is still original and urgently needs to be refreshed. ... maybe this winter ...

Perfect color combo! Reminds me of chocolate. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/chocolate.584847/
Nice car. Surprisingly the first owner lovingly cared for it, but nevertheless replaced the outside mirror with one with better visibility than the original Californian ;-) I assume you will replace it? I would. Best Regards and Merry Christmas Martin
