    I found info under parts and service to lower a 348 355, has anyone try it or have any photos, thanks.

    it is easy what do you need to know? you need two really small spring compresors. I made mine from larger ones

    Unless the car is intended to be a track car, I'm not sure I get why you'd want to lower a car that already scrapes most curbs, driveways, etc. Maybe I'm just slow and don't get it.

    i think a lot of people lower cars for the looks. people dont like seeing gaping wheel gap. :)

    very very true! with small low profile tires, the gaps are getting bigger....

    I often see thread that date back numerous years where someone for some unknown reason brings them back to life. I was reminded of that by a post below on clutch wear. So I figured WTF, what's the oldest 355 post I could find and here is its, from Nov 2, 2003. And wouldn't you know it, FBB was the first one to response to the OP's question. So I brought it to the top. The devil made be do it.

    Why bother with spring compressers and snanner wrenches
    Just use a torch, heat the spring until it drops as low as you want it

    DONE by blue wrench :)

    There are many of my posts older than that. My posts go back to the text only ferrarilist days. I was one of the 1st on Fchat and the 1st on several other defunct lists and forums. There was a time I was extremely unpopular with pro mechanics telling others how to fix Ferraris. In the 70's and 80's concept of reading a bearing number off the race and not using a ferrari bearing in a yellow box or resurfacing a used clutch disc made "wallet based" Ferrari owner's heads explode.

    What if you didn't want it as low as it went?
