I am installing this total package in my 2011 458 Italia. Has anyone already done this? I am curious how the center front detector was mounted? Any other "watch outs"

Don't mount the laser shifters behind grill unless you want them to be 99% useless. It shocks me how many "professional" installations do this. Ideally don't mount the radar antenna behind grill either. Radar antenna is best behind the black piece of plastic.

Radenso RC-M is probably going to be the best bars installed remote radar system very soon. It integrates with ALP which are by far the best jammers. It also only uses one control module so it doesn’t clutter your cabin. The only thing it’s lacking are some quality of life / user experience features compared to the Escort Max Ci 360. The Escort’s radar range detection is also superior too. However, Radenso releases firmware updates fixing problems at a very rapid pace. Escort on the other hand barely do anything to improve their product once launched.

That is what I think. I will let you all know how it works in real life in the coming days.

Looks like a careful install; nice.

Curious: did you evaluate the current products for their ability to address false alarms due to other vehicles' blind-spot-monitoring and similar tech? Acura MDXs (among a few other models) are driving me crazy by instant-on falsing my Escort 9500ix.

I’ve only experienced a few radar systems myself, but there’s a whole community of radar detector enthusiasts that are obsessed with this as a hobby. They have a wealth of information. The 9500 series is outdated and old tech. The 360 series is Escort’s latest product line. If you want a windshield, get a Uniden R3. Hands down the best windshield detector.

If you want laser jamming and a hard remote detector, the top 2 are Radenso RC-M with ALP or escort Max Ci 360.

Max Ci is more user friendly and has better radar range, and is undetectable by police (if radR is illegal in your area.) Radenso is cheaper, better customer service, better laser jamming, and faster product updates.

Those are the only remote systems worth considering.

This system was given to me by my wife for Christmas. So my evaluation was after the fact. But after digging deep, reviewing their videos, talking to some people, I went with it. I have only used Escort detectors for decades, with one in each vehicle. They say the system will not have false alarms from proximity alerts from passing vehicles etc. We shall see......

Here's that system installed until my 488. Some of the pics are during the install. It's hardly noticable and the jammers were outside the mesh. I had the display mounted into the center console. While not ideal visually, it was the cleanest, and the system does audibly list the reading.

I have the new 360 C (dash mounted) in my daily car and it is very good at ignoring all those auto systems. I am very impressed with it.
