Yeah they look awful - very poorly integrated. Be nice to have front sensors but with those horrors I'm out.

You are for sure right about the angle - usually you’re looking down from the top. But even if the car is out in plain sunlight and you’re standing just some feet away, these big pushed-out sensors will even drop their own shadow on the car, since they are not integrated flat into the bumper like on the regular 488 or Speciale - they are sticking out of the bumper for several centimeters.

I usually would never go without sensor - especially on a 30k front bumper, but how often are really issuing the front sensors or camera? Is it worth arguing about their appearance
every time you’re looking at this beautiful car?

It’s the other way round for the 4-point racing harness. Looks amazing but it’s not practical and quite annoying if you’re not planing to track the car regulary.

These two pictures made me change my mind:

The 4-or are not that great for tracking either - ideally need a 6-or like Porsche provide with GT3. One used to be able to spec regular belts with 4-or preparation (so they could be installed later) I did that previously. But apparently now or with the Pista Ferrari won’t do that so it’s regular belts or 4-pt but not both [emoji25]

In the UK one cannot delete the shark fin antenna on the roof unless you forego radio & satnav!

They really don’t look great in real life ..and because you know that your eye is drawn to them more than it should sadly. It looks a afterthought

Folks, I do believe it’s the angles. Consider the photo posted a few moments ago. The lip of the bumper protrudes and drops, like a pout (see second picture). Only at bumper level do you notice the unsightliness. There is nothing attractive about it. But the S duct makes the bumper longer than the 488 and the car sits lower as well. Bottom line, the sensors are unattractive but even more necessary in the Pista. But they don’t create additional “shade” or notice due to the severe angle, unless you are at bumper height
