In my area; 720s outsold performante by 3 to 1. (One mac dealer vs two lambo dealers)

Performante is a great car. They would have sold more if people could fit in them better.

 

IN my area different. There you have it. Case solved.

 

Same for my area. My Lamborghini dealer sells more Lambos than any dealer in North America.

My local McLaren dealer is the largest of only 3 dealers in the entire country.

 

Why do people buy McLarens? They are the ugliest car on the market. Look like a squashed bug. Ugly ass interior to boot.

For me it's the sound as main issue...something about NA. Looks are certainly love or hate all around indeed.

I like the looks of the 720S and it is a great car. If the Performante didn’t exist, I would have purchased it.

 

My area has the largest ferrari dealer in the States and the second largest mac dealer in the states and worldwide.

Lots of car enthusiasts in my area that aren't brand loyal.

 

What does it say about Ferrari owners tastes that also own a Mac? Just about every Mac owner I know owns a ferrari or had a ferrari.

 

One right here. Have a 488 and 720 and have no problems with the 720 looks. Or the 488. Both are great to me.

I’ll admit when I first saw the pictures of 720 I wasn’t a fan but in real life it’s a great looking car.

Me too!! We get too caught up here at times about relative comparisons when the truth is they are all great cars!!

They are also the mac dealer that had so many macs in a warehouse this year that mac us made dealers take some of their old stock so they could move merchandise. Not a high volume dealer .

 

Congrats--doesn't represent US necessarily. Left coast is not the perfect model--people forget that.

I saw the blue one with CF hood. That yellow has got to pop it even more!

Then again I'm partial to CF hoods

Both are great in their own right. 720 is faster- it’s not even close. But 488 has its own appeal. More visceral and louder but 720 the performance is out of this world.

I don’t know if it’s cause 720 is more rare and newer but it literally stops traffic every time I take it out. 488 gets plenty of looks as well but nothing like the 720.

 

Been in the Miami area for 10 days. Have seen over a dozen 488s, a single McLaren and 2 Huracans.

 

As far as Macs," beauty is in the eye of the beholder." After all, Ferrari does sell the Lusso and has sold FF's neither car to me have the good looks of a prom queen (flame suit now on).
Perhaps, I just like the looks of "squished bug"?

Have you seen one in person? I’m with you. Thought it was ugly when it was first released. I didn’t care for the launch color either. But in person, especially with the wing up- it’s a good looking car

 

So what is your point? 1K mile Performantes are $50K under sticker.

Are you saying the 100+ 720s for sale have technical problems that are making people sell them? I don't really know what you're getting at since you mention depreciation several times.

 

Curious how the 599 tanked...have not followed that market.
Do the V12 models drop more than the corresponding V8 models?

599 Tanked because of recession and the 458 was a much better experience and I've had both
