Agreed with @tomc, best of luck finding your dream f-car!
I understand how a person has the ideal spec in mind. But for anyone courious the car Fossil fuel is selling is a very nice car, and it has the HS package. I drove that very car at a dealer that was local to me and I’d not hesitate to buy it if it weren’t black since I’ve sworn off black vehicles.
Has anyone else had issues trying to buy a Ferrari? The communication at the two Florida Ferrari Dealers I've been dealing with has been horrendous. When someone is interested in a car, cash in hand, you'd think they would call, text, email you back in a timely manner when you have a question. Is this a Ferrari world thing? Because buying my other vehicles, motorcycles included, was not this hard. FFS
I LOL'D. Thanks I needed that. Hopefully things will turn around. I really wanted this car by New Years but I don't see it happening. I'll keep trying...the longer I'm delayed the more financially comfortable I'll be to make the jump to a 458. So, theres that lol.
If they are not that enthusiastic before they have your dough in their pocket, imagine what it'll be like after they cut the check. And, as said above, what happens if there is a service issue? Since it's a used Ferrari, you don't have to buy local. And shipping a car isn't a major chore. I bought from Miller in Connecticut. Steve Daley was awesome to deal with. He's retired but Miller always seems to have very choice inventory. On the service end, Boardwalk here in Dallas has been nothing but top notch. Shop around, you'll find someone who wants to sell you a Ferrari! T
Ron Tonkin in Portland, the San Diego Ferrari Dealership, and Boardwalk in Dallas are the ones I have really enjoyed interacting with. The people who work at those stores are the real deal. They are professionals who absolutely love their job and go the extra 10,000 miles to put that smile on your face. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone. I have had numerous experiences at other places when the people selling the product have little to no idea what they are talking about or what their warranties cover.
I have bought at least dozen cars from Algar over the years, and I have sold them a few as well. They are storing my T for me over the winter, and they have serviced not only my Ferrari's but the 4C and the Evora 400. I am sure they would be glad to sell you a car, and I have helped a few members over the years purchase cars from them, some of them being my cars. Give Francis or Tony a call tell them I sent you, and if they don't have what you want, they can probably find it for you.
