    The 1975 Copper brown 432 is much darker than the later Copper brown 443.

    1976 Turbo, 9306700602 was fitted with a manual antenna. Also has midnight Shetland sport seats and was originally fitted with black Turbo graphics.

    I received my car with valve stem supports on the rear wheels, but not the fronts. Can anyone confirm whether the car would have originally had valve stem supports on the front wheels? All the photos I have looked at have been inconclusive. Thanks!

    Love the wear on the light red leather. Only one '75 Turbo had this color interior (minus tartan), '75 #0156.

    Sorry to get or be commercial with this post but I have the identical car interior / exterior colors as a project for sale in the event anyone is looking for a project. Russet Leather, red/blue tartan inserts on seats, silver metallic. It's a 1976 US 930 Turbo Carrera and 100% all there. Just needs to be done. After finishing 3 cars, I can't must doing another one...

    Something I learned from Ryan’s book is that Russet was a standard available red leather color but a few ’75 & 76 Turbos were fitted with light red. One in ’75 (#0156) and sixteen in 1976 (including U.S. Turbo Carrera #0011). Light red and lobster became standard colors for the 1977 model year.

    1976 Turbo, Oak Green Metallic w/ green interior for sale on Classic Driver. No chassis # listed and I thought it would be easy to find in Ryan's book but there were over a dozen 1976 Turbos equipped with this color combination.

    Interior was restored and is very easy to pick out that this was a restoration vs. original. Is it just me or is there no one on the planet capable of matching a 3-liter Turbo leather interior to the Porsche factory's original fit and finish? I follow other Ferrari and Lamborghini threads on F-chat, and for example, a Countach or Miura can have the leather replaced and my eye can’t detect the restoration. Am I not schooled on these cars as well and they have the same issues that no one can really match the 1970s leather of the Ferrari or Lamborghini factory?

    The interior is typically the most difficult thing to get right on a restoration. For example, I can usually spot a redone interior on a Countach from a mile away. Same goes for many other cars that I know fairly well including many Ferraris. That said the Porsche interior seems espcially hard to match. Dr Georg recommended the person that did the gelb interior for my 75 and he did a fantastic job. The leather match and fit and finish is outstanding and the closest I’ve seen to factory original.

    This is a beautiful color combo. I wouldnt let the interior deter me if I was interested in purchasing this. It could easily be redone if it was bothering me but it is a pretty typical finish for a restored car.

    Hi, I am busy sorting out my 930 with a build date of Nov 75. Please point out the key errors with this interior to help me not make the same mistake. I am new to the Porsche world so to me that interior looks pretty good.

    Please what do you see as restored bits on the green one?
    - I see rear seats (both lower and upper part) pleats are incorrect orientation?
    - Seats are a bit more plumb than original, looking more like '80s stanza?
    - Some greases (poor fitting) of leather.

    It is not that bad to my eye, perhaps 6.5 out of 10 (range 1=diy 15min resto with home-made seat covers, 10=factory standard). But agree almost every Porsche interior restoration ( like 19 out of 20) looks restored at first 3 second glance. I am about to go resto route, too, but when see what people usually get, makes one cringe. Would like to understand, why is it so easily visible 70s/80s Porsche seats have been restored?
