As per title, I've read the scud steering wheel can be fitted to a standard F430 coupe, although the manettino won't match to the correct mode eg sport, race etc.

Does anyone have one for sale or any links?

    Thanks.

Not sure where your source is from, but the rev LEDs won't work and the manettino would actually work fine/plug n play. You'll need a separate stand-alone rev controller connected to the steering wheel to get it to work.

Didn't the LEDs work fine on a "regular" 430 for the OP, stevely, in that thread without much effort? There was some indication in the thread that someone with a 430 manual transmission couldn't get the LEDs to light.

A Scuderia steering wheel will not work in an F430 because the Manettino software is written to work with a different instrument cluster and ABS module.

Did you read the top post in the thread linked above? The owner had/has a 2005 430 F1, and according to his post the Scud LEDs work, as does the manetino except for modes being "shifted one over" as he calls it. So, it seems he retained his manetino function to some extend, except as I am reading it, the Scud graphics overlay isn't correct and/or perhaps some modes missing. Perhaps he could have moved the manetino related internals of his original 430 wheel into the Scud wheel, along with overlay, and have his original 430 manetino function intact...

I saw that post - I think the wheel must have been modified.

The Manettino drives the LEDs so it isn't possible to swap in the F430 version and retain LED functionality. The Scuderia Manettino will not work in an F430 for the rea sons I posted above.

I guess that would make sense. Too bad the seller then didn't modify the manetino functions to operate as stock 430 F1, or perhaps he did, but just didn't have the stock 430 F1 graphics overlay.
