Can a seat lifter be added to the 488 gold rake seats that came from the factory without it?

Not exactly sure what your asking , but the lifter option CAN be added, though it would be expensive. ( We've done it ) seat base, brackets, handles, etc are required.

While many disagree, I find it useful option. Just a minor up or down adjustment can sometimes make a big difference in comfort. As a point of reference, the 2018 option price was $2,531.

I had the goldrakes with the lifter in my 458 Italia and have the Daytona full power in 488 and I know I will get many who disagree but the Daytona’s are exponentially more comfortable

There shouldn’t be any disagreement whatsoever. Your car, your comfort, your choice.

Does anyone know if it can be added? I’m finding so many cars that have the gold rakes without the adjuster and I have to pass on them as a result

No doubt the lifter can be added. It won’t be inexpensive though. I’d guess $4000.

For a $4000 retrofit, it would be better to lift the seat yourself with longer seat bolts and standoff spacers. Unless there were multiple drivers of different height.

I am 5'8" and seating position is perfect on my 458 with race seats.

Not at all. And the race seats are really comfortable. And look cool.

I agree with Ivin. I have the racing seats in my 458 and I am about the same height as both of you. Seating position is spot on and find them more comfortable than regular seats.

I found them very comfortable (the gold rakes), the standard seats are terrible IMO. I sat in a height adjustment seat though, was just concerned about non height adjustment seats
