GTR vs NSX vs Lexus could be a good subplot to the GTD season

 

Some fun GTD announcements today. Paul Miller Racing will in fact be back to defend their title with Bryan Sellers and Ryan Hardwick.

Pat Long ran with Wright Motorsports this year so I am curious if that program is going to continue for next year.

 

doesn't sound like Wright will continue in GTD. Nielsen doesn't have the funding.

Hopefully Christina finds a ride.

 

Ditto. Very talented driver that deserves a seat. However, we all know money talks in this sport. I would be very sorry to see her sidelined this year.

Yes. 3 of them at the shop in Concord. Err, well, umm, they were at the shop -at the moment they're somewhat south of there since there's a Michelin test tomorrow, LOL.

 

That car is going to look awesome at night. I never was a fan of the blue chrome and red chrome wrap on the 3Gt cars.

 

LOL! I never gave a crap about the 3GT cars until I noticed how well they photographed!

 

That is true. I have a lot of really good shots of them. I wish teams would change up the livery more often. Looking at you Ford GT...

I spoke to them for you. More exciting things are coming is what I was told.

 

I really hope the 911 and 912 keep the Champion livery from PLM. Such an improvement.

 

Ha! yeah I saw that the other day. I seriously doubt that is what they are actually going to run. I would love to see some throwback GT40 liveries.

 

Oh, they're not running that, no worries. As for throwbacks, meh, not sure about that. Would prefer to see something altogether new in the livery world. Preferably not from one of the recently popular livery contests either.

 

Just finalized all of my reservations for Daytona. Can't wait to go back.
