Do you consider yourself a better driver than Jenson? LOL!!!
May I remind you that he beat Hamilton on points in one of their years as team mates...

This is how my Evora 400 sounds. 80% similar. But the way it looks I just love. Not being salty about turbo vs na at all. I think Pista is brilliant and its sounds make me appreciate my Evora and 458 much more.

“Mate” we are talking about car reviews not driving skills. And when it comes to f1 it’s pretty hard to say if those guys are better than u.Unlike track and field where one can say for sure that usain bolt is the fastest guy ever for drivers a lot come into play; money, access to those cars. Lots of them come from different worlds than we do.
Now if you want we can go back to the topic of the pista; if u don’t like Chris Harris that’s fine, I think he is a great journalist.

Love me some Monkey Boy and Steve Sutcliffe. His review of the Aston Martin gt8 is so spot on.
If we could import to USA it would be my only car for life if i had to choose. Riding in that car is epic.

Harris might be a great driver; he certainly has great racing experience. I just never liked his style and when I drove the same car, I pften came to the opposite conclusion. Funnily enough, I almost always agreed with Sutcliffe...

Glad he did the video. The last one I saw with him was on the F12tdf and not sure what that was about compared to his prior ones. This one is a bit choppy and confusing to be honest. He loved the Pista on the track mostly because it was so much more NA feeling than the GTB. Then he ends the video with a food for thought doubting the merits of the NA. Clearly he is an NA favorite but with so much forced induction out there folks are losing reference. His comments about not being able to enjoy the car on the street as much is noteworthy.

Another thing that stood out to me was his comment that it should be illegal to own one of these cars and not drive it. Too often we fall into that category but I don't think Harris is into losing $250K tracking the hell out of his personal Ferrari's either.

Because the natural playing ground for the Pista is ... a "pista", a race track. And that was Harris' clever point that I liked, that it should be illegal (at least in Italy, where we love the cars) to buy it and not to drive it. (Maybe some Clarkson's lingo influence? ;-) )

Probably the most interest commentary is what a lot of people are quickly realizing these days, and that is that cars are becoming too much for the road and street tires. Unless you drive with all aides off, all you're doing is pointing the steering wheel and the car is managing the fact that it has way too much power.

Its only a review. I seriously doubt that anyone who receives their Pista will be disappointed.

So what. Holding the steering wheel and hitting the gas is so much fun!!! Try it sometime.

It’s definitely fun, but with today’s cars going zero to jail in about 2.8 seconds those episodes of fun are harder and harder to come by. It will only get worse with time and more horsepower.

My comment was for "Mike" who owns no sports cars, has no intention of owning sports cars and constantly talks about how bland the driving experience is.

Put all the computers in a car you want. I just wanna drive baby! Its just fun fun fun!

Call me crazy but I find the most exciting aspect of owning a super car is driving it.

If we are going to cheery pick a single word from a review without any context then I could say the same reviewer called the F12tdf "scary" and that he also said in the Pista review that it should be "criminal" if you own these cars and don't drive them.

But I don't look at it like that.

Instead I think we should look at his reviews in total. He loved the F12tdf and he loved the 488 Pista. Indeed, he started the 488 Pista review by saying he was in a foul mood, and then he ended up very happy. That's what I am looking for in a fun car such as this. His comments about the car being like a car from the 60s is high praise in my book. Most people think of that era as THE golden era of cars. I submit to you all, as great as the 50s/60s were, we are NOW living in the 2nd Golden Era of performance/ fun/ cars. :)

Having a car from the '60s (an E Type), I find this comment disconcerting. I just hope that the Pista goes, brakes and steers better than those wayward death traps... :p

Scary is positive. Numb is not positive. I will watch it again but i did not get positive vibes from the last 3rd of the video.

Watch again and tune out what he says, rather watch his expressions and listen to the car. Now how do you feel?

    Serious question.

Totally confused. He seems to be arguing with himself. Likes the motor alot over 488. He is surprised to the upside on the track. The Interior he ****s on and calls the combination of materials a hodge podge and dated. He says the Brakes and suspension feel numb. He says its crazy fast which is expected with the hp. Throughout he dislikes the 488 which i understand.

I got the same gist after watching it; almost felt like he wanted to give an honest review but had to dial it all back hence contradicting himself on so many things...or maybe that's the honest truth: He doesn't how to feel about it all?

Only concrete takeaway: It's better than a 488GTB
