Was cleaning the car and as I was doing the tires I noticed a crease and also a warp on one of the front ones. The air pressure when measured seems fine but the split of the rubber is a little troublesome. Has anyone ever had this happen. I hit a pothole recently and that would be about the only thing I can think of that would cause that.

I’m guessing that tire is going to need to be replaced. Question is..is it safe to drive to dealer like this.

Slowly. Don't be too surprised if they tell you the wheel is bent too.

Change the tyre....... immediately. When the tyre is off check the rim for damage, you are likely fine, but a bulge like that is the form of a tyre about to burst I’m afraid. Usually I’d be certain to change both tyres on the same axle at a time to ensure similar grip levels, particularly if one ends up being a very old tyre (2 or 3 years from the batch number) and the fresh one is likely to be two or three months from its creation. The formulations change over time, and of course, weather causes them to further deteriorate albeit slowly

Actually the DOT BUILD DATE is 4513 = 45th week 2013, those tires are 5 years old, time to replace them anyway, performance driving requires tires under 6 years old otherwise you are just hoping they will hold

And, if you value your rim, do not drive on that tire at all, probably best to flatbed it to the dealer and replace all 4 tires, no point in having 5+ year old tires on one axle and fresh on another...

I didn’t spot that! Top advice. Check all the tyres. I had a 599 once and when I inspected the tyres, the rears were three years old, fronts one year and four years! Needless to say I swapped all of them and transformed the already seemingly good handling

Thanks guys for the advice. First no rain, sunny day in a month in Atlanta and this happens.

Consider your self lucky if only the tire is damaged. As said the tires are old anyway for performance driving so it is time for 4 new shoes. You will likely notice the better handling on the new tires.

    Bummer :(
I would jack the front up and pull both wheels.
Take them to the tire store in your car and have them put new tires on.
Check the dates on the back tires also.
