ARRIVABENE LEAVING FERRARI...

If confirmed, the departure of Arrivabene from the post of team manager is great news for Ferrari.

He didn't look fit for the job, and was certainly not in the same league as Toto Wolff at Ferrari, of Christian Horner at Red Bull.

He bears at least 50% of responsability in Ferrari failing to win the title in 2018, IMO.

I hope the next manager, Binotto?, will do a better job.

For a start, he has grown with Ferrari, and knows the company well.

 

Being a sycophant was the only way to survive at Ferrari in those days.

Any criticism was tantamount to rebellion, and the Commandatore wanted only to hear good news.

 

Maybe it is time to promote the chief strategist after doing such a great job
Certainly he can do no more damage in this position than he did before

Ferrari has issued an official statement confirming that Arrivabene left the team and Binotto as team principal.

 

Mauro Forghieri in that picture surely ? Or are you saying Binotto will be the next Forghieri?

So turns out last year, after Marchionne died, Arrivaderci took away all development in the technical area....No **** any of the following updates where terrible and nothing was done to fix it!

friday I had lunch with a Ferrari executive at Maranello: He guessed Arrivabene would have been fired soon and he complained a lot about how incompetent M.A. was. Binotto had told "me or him" to Ferrari board. It ended up that they kept the engineer and fired the cigarette seller.

Yep, those 4 months of "updates" (downgrades really) in the 2nd half only to be thrown out the window and revert back to Spa updates...yep....unbelievable!!

 

Pretty clear now what could have pushed Allison out.

 

Have'nt come across anything. Too much news on the Arrivabenne and Binotto deal.

 

Unfortunately now the guy who used to sell cigarettes is at the very top instead...

That too but in his interviews he refers to how too political Ferrari was and he was rumoured to replace Arrivabene as well before leaving.

 

Hope he won't last long too: Ferrari are not cigarettes.
