Every manufacturer will produce a lemon at some point. I had a Mclaren 570GT which I sold not too long ago. It was a brilliant car The only issue I had was battery related for not driving it enough. Always flat for sitting around too long
The speciale was my wife's car, which she never drove. It was great but I could not handle the cabin noise. for me it was too loud to just take out on a drive. It never got driven, only to get serviced really and 1 trip to Jenolan caves. But performance wise, it was fantastic. The 570GT was more drivable I found, and a bit more comfortable to drive on a long distance. The speciale had a bit over 400kms on the clock when it was sold last year in our 2018 car collection sell off. I would of kept it now knowing my wife wants a 488 Pista, so It would of been good to have them both. I would really like a McLaren 675LT

Its a great drive. Doesn't need to be a winter run/drive. As long as its not a 30C + day as it usually quite cool down at the caves
