    George got 5018 as a new car in 1972 (delivered to him via USA Lamborghini concessionaire Modena Racing Car Co) so he paid circa $25,000.

    #4818 corrected as #4863 being ready to be delivered to its enthusiast owner in december 2018 ?

    Olivier : does it mean that #4863 has recently finally found a new owner ?

    I've understood that the restoration of #4863 back to its original white Miura P400S specs has already been completed earlier in 2018 : Lamborghini Company wrote in a Newsletter that the car has been finished and delivered in aug.2018 to its UK owner who comissioned its restoration to PoloStorico (at a cost of €400K Euros according to RM auction later decription).
    #4863 car has been displayed at the 14th edition of "Salon Prive" (UK- aug.30th-sept.1st 2018), presented by its proud owner (see pict.) where the freshly restored ex. Rod Stewart's Miura got 3 awards.

    #4863 was then quickly offered for sale at auction during the London Auction sale by RM on sept.5th 2018 ( unsold ).

    So, you perhaps simply meant that it is still for sale, waiting for a new enthiusiast owner ?

    None of that, don't seek for fantasy where there is none, but I know it is your habit….

    it means that a car being tranported, used, presented in Public (not very respectful when you have kids scratching with their jackets) in several activities got minor details to be corrected before going to retire for a while during winter season...

    One man's personal recreation with Ferrari Borrani wheels and Ford GT40-lookalike headlamps, I saw it for fleeting moment @ 20 years ago, but fortunately for me I quickly looked away.

    Olivier, we know you mean well, but Bruno is simply asking some useful questions that will enlighten all of us, affirmation or otherwise is all that's required.

    I was wondering the same thing.

    Either way, he, or the next owner, have found reason to send the car back to Italy for work, which, coming so soon after the car's original restoration completion, makes one wonder what were the shortcomings of the initial expensive restoration, and why so?

    As the saying goes, inquiring minds wish to know...
