Good morning. Haven’t read a good discussion on this in a while.....
-wondering if there’s a trend, in general, for color contrasting calipers?
-I realize the colored calipers are sort of a “signature” for super cars/sports cars, and other manufacturers have followed suit.
-Are the colored calipers starting to follow a different trend like fashion? Ex: brighter is in nowadays...match the wheels is in....contrasting but subtle tone....etc.....?
-Or still very much personal choice, ymmv, no trends whatsoever???

    Thoughts?
    Thank you all

Image Unavailable, Please Login I have red on red but preferred previous Fcar yellow calipers on red—I’m not complaining. FWIW here’s a picture from last week at SD.

Simply another option to charge for. Want a different color then supplied? It will cost you an extra bit...but if you want THIS color, well that's double.

I'm not sure it's "falling" for it like some dealer add-ons like overpriced floormats or claimed interior coating to prevent stains that Chevy dealers and the like do. It's a factory option like painting the rest of the car and people have a preference and they don't really have a choice.

I think blue cars with yellow calipers look great and red on red. I'm not sure I'd want some aftermarket shop messing with CCB calipers just to repaint them for a little less money.

I like the red and yellow as well.....the silver, when seen against the cars with 20 inch silver wheels, is looking sharp to me as well !

Depends on what color the vehicle and wheels are. I prefer contrast to both color of car and wheels. That copper looking caliper would look really nice with a dark blue car and graphite gray wheels. As someone else mentioned, yellow calipers with blue cars look really nice also.

I do think anyone “falls for this”. My Lusso came with black calipers, which were optional, and I personally like the look with black wheels....
