Is it me or does the silver wheel at the gas station look like a replica? maybe to not scratch the originals?
New Rame Colorado Metallizzato paint on an LP400S S1 as of this week. On of the most satisfying things besides doing my own restorations has been consulting and assisting on many Countach restorations Image Unavailable, Please Login
The striking DLA12562 which we used to own, now beautifully refurbished by Mike Hall and seen @ a recent Caffeine & Carburetors event in New Canaan, Connecticut Image Unavailable, Please Login
Would you be welcome at this event in a 74 911rsr?or a 50s Gullwing? How about a 288gto? Countach fi?
If it goes back to orignal color it must be 1121020, the first of 8 Rame Colorado LP400S and when I counted correctly the only S1 in this stunning color.
This morning I saw Countach HLA12110 at the exhibition in Maastricht. On the roof they had the PoloStorico certificate for this car on display. The certificate also mentions a body number (1022 in this case). Is there anyone who has ever seen a body number on the car itself ? Would be interesting to know where you can find this and to see some body number / VIN combinations. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Check with the organizers, meanwhile it seems these events have been ongoing for @ 8 years plus since 2010 https://www.autotrader.com/car-video/caffeine-and-carburetors-amazing-cars-and-coffee-n-270707 and I am made to understand we'll soon be having a California version which I hope to attend. That is correct. I see this car continues to remain unsold (I wonder why?) and continues to be misrepresented in the market as one of two "Gold Package" cars.
