I was in Brisbane over the weekend for my mother in laws 70th. Gee your weather sucks, the humidity is awful. It’s no wonder you’re all mad. We did however find some good food. Madame Wu on Eagle St and Hellenika at the Calile Hotel. The latter was surprisingly good, I’m pretty fussy when it comes to Greek (food) [emoji3]

We stayed at a small boutique hotel (Ovolo Inchcolm). Highly recommend it.

We go to Madam Wu regularly. It is very good.

Have not been to Hellenika as yet, but continue to hear great things about it.

Qantas usually, Virgin occasionally.

The check in and bag drop process with Qantas is a no brainer for me. I don’t cope well queuing behind idiots on a Friday night, unless of course I’m meeting Ian at the Blue Oyster

We’ve been there a stack of times.

The food is fantastic, however I wouldn’t go there on a hot day. Unbearably hot if you’re seated outside.

I’m lucky I’m still allowed to the Thai place after Phil’s very ordinary performance. [emoji85][emoji85]

Not mine - tried Jetstar for a total pf 4 sectors over a few years - 3 of which were total disasters. Never again.

 

Jetstar has cancelled my last 3 flights to the Gold Coast at the last minute .... Virgin, no problems
