    Thank you!! That GTO tale made me think of the time that a customer drove into Hollywood Sport Cars I 275GTB/4 with a complaint that he needed a tune-up. Inspection by mechanic Pete Iurilli showed a rod sticking out the side of the block.

    Also reminds me of the time I went to the docks to pick up 2689GT. Carbs were all frozen shut by salt water. I finally got two carbs to open by pounding on them with a big hammer and a big screw driver, and drove home on 8 cylinders.
