It's an old old thread, and the original title is now relevant again. Nah. Start another one if you want the title so badly! LOL
then we would need 2 threads: testarossa-prices-sinking and testarossa-prices-gaining and then it will get much more confusing
I'll refrain from my true feelings about ASD and the owner, since it's cemented on the internet, but let's chalk it up to haughtiness I can do without in my life There are some really cool dealers out there, but there are also a lot of fluffed up egos that I cannot stand. I think you have every right to "snipe" AND snip. Calling spades spades always gets these guys panties in a bunch.
I actually met the guy and well I’ll say I share your opinion. Interestingly enough he said car was consigned by a friend, then he said this guy’s email I showed what his employee... so he seems to have trouble remembering we talked and the price he offered the car for lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I also believe Zeff talked to him and got similar numbers from the owner.i.e 130k Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
In re: to the memory, thats my main reason of resentment. The phone was picked up on their end with "Hello? Yea, who are you again?" Right. I don't forget simple details like that. You have once chance to make a good impression on a customer/client...**** it up and you're replaced by someone who WILL remember who I am. In all honesty is it a decent car? It looks shabby for $130K
Let’s just say that 130k it’s what it is worth in current market condition. Some nicer example , with maybe more miles can be had between 150k-160k. Now 30k is a big difference but at the door and for peace of mind it isn’t. Like my beloved blkdiablo33 says: never buy the cheapest Ferrari I would myself settle for middle ground as I couldn’t be happy paying 200k and not drive the thing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not being honest is a big problem when your selling an expensive car. He’s obviously trying to hide the condition of the car. But that won’t work as you can see the car for what it is.
Looks like this one sold below $70k this week. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1986-Ferrari-Testarossa-/192784762838?nordt=true&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m43663.l10137
That was painful to watch A beautiful car destroyed by a ****ing lowlife Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't understand. Why wasn't this done in under an insurance claim for vandalism? Why would it be sold like that? ...raises a red flag for me. Not the paint condition....but why it wasn't taken care of. Shamile Freeze....Miami Vice! Sent from my SM-G950U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I know but I got called a sellers nightmare on BAT for that I got admit I can be a PITA with my car but I don’t see any of his pictures online showing this, nor explain what happen. Maybe an angry wife? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
An angry wife would have keyed " I hope your whore likes your car" lol Shamile Freeze....Miami Vice! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Yea, but that was another dealer who called you that, and he sold his 348 on here NOT under the dealer's section....So FWIW... Look at it this was. If you were gung ho to sell a car, and hide some issues, then eBay for BaT are good platforms because 7 days is tight time to get PPI's in and actually knock out due diligence. The paint, if it was a 9.5/10, would make this TR a huge hit. As it sits it just makes me sad.
