I did enjoy that great factory event with 52 participating 275's in Tuscany, June 15-20, 2004. Marcel Massini
Not a 4-cam. That's Robs Lamplough's 2-cam longnose alloy RHD #08021. Originally Amaranto, not BRG. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I always thought the rear hinges were specific to GTB/4 but it's specific only to Long nose? Is Amaranto like a cream white color?
It is a high color parking, with a variety of models GTB, I see a GTS and a GTE. The thing is about Ferrari, that you don't know where to look when there are too many. Marcel talks about 52, it's impressive, especially on the road.. Un corbillard gris, c est du jamais vu ..
#08465. One of the three 275 stamped 275 GTC. The car will be on sale by Artcurial during the Retromobile week, Paris, 8 feb. Est. 2.3 - 2.6 Mio€ Here at the Tour Auto 2018 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Excellent photos, thank you. Unfortunately 08465 has been altered/customised, air intake on hood is not original, car is no longer in the original colors. Sold new in Italy 5 May 1966, exported to France 8 May 1970. The "GTC" suffix does not make this car a race car and it did not race in period. Marcel Massini
Marcel what is the factory's explanation of the "GTC" stamping--was it just a mistake or does it have some significance? Thanks.
I am not the factory and cannot really answer. Some people have "suggested" that the "GTC" stamping (instead of "GTB") was specifically requested by the original owner(s) to make it look more "racy". Whatever the truth is, I think it is just a stock standard longnose steel-bodied 3-carb 275 GTB. Marcel Massini
The subject 275 GTC has been discussed a few years ago : https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/275-gtc.297065/ with others pics from 2013 : https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/143488019/
