hahahaha. Well, first I will call you a liar. If someone handed you a 355 F1 for free you would take it. Guaranteed.

Secondly, you ever own one to substantiate your maintenance claims.? Or is that your internet showing?

Many of us here drive them regularly and do not see the astronomical repair bills you are so quick to reference.
Are they more complicated than a stick shift? Sure. But many of us can handle that part.
    Some just can't I guess.

I have owned both a 348 and a 355, both manual transmission. I have never owned an F1, because after driving one, I hated it, so why would I buy one?
As for being a liar, ok you got me. The car would be forsale within 15 minutes of getting it. If you had 2 identical 355, one F1, one manual, but the F1 was 50% cheaper, Id buy the manual.

Totally not true and it takes skill to get the performance from 1st generation F1. The performance is there.

So quit talking about how much they cost to maintain.

I, and many others here, DO own them and they are not what you pretend them to be.

One needs only to research on Fchat to see how bad they are to maintain. No need to take my word for it.

Apparently you don't have experience with a properly setup F1. Mine shifts in the blink of an eye, or less :)

I've owned my F1 6 years now and the F1 system has not cost me one dime to maintain and it runs like a Swiss watch. Fake New is being spewed :)

Maybe a handful, not unlike online reviews of other products. All the bad ones filter to the top when you're looking for them. ;)

But it's good to see the positive comments here regarding the F1 as well.

    Ah, you're assuming...

Haven't read any of my posts other than the one you replied to, correct?

I was trying to soften things for a more informative thread. Hence the ;)

Well no one is taking your word for it so you got that right.

The group here has made the F1 system manageable and if you do the research you would find that out.

Posting silly, unproven opinions as fact is not a good look. You should consider "staying in your lane bro".

You can keep going all you want. The system is garbage inmo. Terrible. If I had to own a Ferrari with an F1, or even a Lambo with an Egear (Murci or Gallardo) Id rather buy a Porsche. Dont worry about me staying in my lane, Ill be so far ahead of you, it wont matter which lane Im in.

If you get an F355 you can convert it to a stick shift for relatively cheap. I haven't driven a 348 and while it may feel more raw than a 355, the looks and engine note in the 355 is worth it in my opinion. Just make sure you get one that's been sorted (valve guides, headers and cats); if not, plan accordingly.

I have a question for F1 owners who are saying the system is reliable. How many miles do you average per year?

My car has 15.5K miles and never a single F1 issue. I'm guessing I may average a little more than people who don't own the car :) :D

I suspect you can't afford it so you are here trashing it.

This thread was about a 348 vs 355 F1, since I owned both a 355 and a 348 Im voicing my opinion as to why I preferred one over the other. Im sorry my opinion differs with yours. Maybe you couldn't come up with the funds to buy a manual and just had to settle. And yes, you figured me out. I cant afford it.

    No you didn't.

You came on here extolling how expensive the 355 F1 is. Yet you never had one. EVER.
You get called on it and now are dodging and weaving and blowing smoke.

    Fun to watch though. :)

    Carry on.
