I just continue to amaze myself how much I have learned after owning Twenty one Ferraris over the past forty one years.
    1. Do you know that I just discovered that the shields on the drivers side face forward and face backwards on the passenger side?.
    2. Did you know that the correct position of the wheel center caps is for the horses rear legs point to the valve stem
    3. Did you know that Ferrari hired a one armed, left handed Dwarf to design the location of the battery charger in the trunk of the F12? BUT they hired a genius to design the magnetic attachment in recent years.
    4. How about, that contrary to public opinion, the "Horsey on the seat" head rest is not correct, and it is called a Cavallino?
    5. After spending hours detailing my car, I started it up to attend a Cars and Coffee, to learn my Wipers had gotten turned on. Did you know that when you pull back on the wiper button, you can spray washer fluid to completely cover the windshield, mist the passenger window, cover 2/3 of the roof, and a pretty large portion of the rear deck?. Did you know it takes about 45 minutes to clean that up?
6.Did you know that on the 812 Superfast they have installed a tiny wheel on the back side of the left turn signal, that controls the telephone volume, and the default factory sound is set on 160 Decibels.

Do any of you have things you have learned and can share with us?

Little known fact. In 2008 Ferrari considered eliminating windshield wipers since so few owners drove their car in the rain. :D

[emoji2] I'm glad you're joking, Paul. I took the Cali out this AM to run errands and it rained. [emoji30] A light schvitz. But, still I pulled over & screamed to the heavens, begging forgiveness from the Ferrari gods for my transgression.

    7) contrary to popular belief, a Ferrari will not melt if driven in the rain

    8) also contrary to popular belief, the engine will not explode if the cambekt service is NOT done every 3 years

Ferrari odometers can actually record numbers in the tens of thousands of miles....and the car still runs and performs beautifully.

Tom, in cases where it does rain, it is appropriate for you to put the top UP! :D

Don't laugh, twice I've had pop-up thunderstorms catch me while driving with the top down in the Cali. Fortunately, neither were what we call gulley washers!

    9. Every time you get into your cali30 after a wash you have to clean the bottom 2" of window at your next destination to rid it of water spots as the glass moves down to clear the seals. This cycle continues for 3 days or next wash, whatever comes first lol.

Don't wash your Cali. It'll just get dirty the next time you take it out. Problem solved. [emoji6]

lol I wish! I have 10/10 OCD. I use boars hair brushes in the cracks of the interior to rid of any spec of dust, wax door jambs, wax the steering wheel emblem, I can go on and on LOL. I got caught in the rain the other day and was all like.....(long sigh) (looks up to sky) You WIN!

Yup lol, she's getting a ton of love this month. Novitec lowering springs and wheel spacers, PPF on entire front end, and a full paint correction and ceramic coating. The coating should keep cleaning time down.

Not for the Florida market. It rains every time you drive one (targas and convertibles, that is).
