Not sure how I feel about him coming back, he totally screwed Alonso for a nailed on championship with his crappy strategy. Hope he’s matured and learnt a few things while he was away Forza Ferrari..... the only racing team and car marque that matters. Italia forever It’s easier to apologise than it is to ask permission
It's not about managing the race team and deciding on race strategy, but abouf the CEO role. I trust that he's better in that role.
I was a big fan of his departure, and called for it several years before he left. I was not impressed with his team principal work on the F1 team, however at Lamborghini, he has done a great job with running the company. And that may be his role if he comes back to Ferrari.
I liked him, very honest, smart man, but perhaps not hard enough for the job....bringing Alonso was a disastrous decision, and it destroyed the team...it was his decision to leave when he refused to sack marmorini and inastead presented his own demission.
My impression is that the rumors are that he could come back to Ferrari as a corporation road cars and not be a part of the F1 team....? He has absolutely NOOO business being part of the F1 team
