    Hey Terry,

does F1 ECU change also mean change in the ignition eco? I got part no. 202757 and thinking about whether 211504 is the newer one which then came as a standard once the HGTC package got offered?
Am i right or completely wrong ;)? Anybody got a 211504?
    Thanks in advance best regards!

    Carlo

I'd go for the 599. Wish I could afford to move up. Wet or cold makes me very cautious. Both together can be diabolical. Curious about the temperature and age of tires. My skins 6 yrs old now and planning to get new as soon as the car comes out of hibernation. GTS Bruce

If you have to ask then its time for new rubber. Otherwise you will always have doubt when confidence is a much better feeling.

    Hey Taz,

thanks for your help and sorry for combing back at you so late... i now have the chance to upgrade my once bought ECU's both 202757 to HGTC/FHP software. Unfortunately i'll only have the possibility to Upgrade it to F1 EU version i guess... which is 211504. I think it does not make sense to have the manual software 211503 installed since there are not a lot of manual cars out there? In the end i want to sell them and give somebody the chance to upgrade his car but unfortunately the EU 211504 is NOT valid for US? I'm not sure whether it still will work? Is anybody still looking for an upgrade?
    Thanks :)
    Regards

I am not really sure of the difference between the Euro and US ECUs. Probably would work but could affect something else, like secondary air injection or something equally obscure.

I’ll ask the guy doing the flashing... maybe he knows the difference and I’ll let you know so that you have another tiny bit of 575 technical knowledge more ;)
    Thanks anyway!
    Enjoy the weekend...

That’s a long time ago. I got a 575M HGTC after the crashed 575M and drove over 40 000 happy km with it. Sold it last autumn to buy a 458 Spider.

Darius, you mean my old (crashed) 575M has been restored in a different colour?

The car went to my insurance company which sold it as I guess. Do you know more about it?

    Markus,

Congratulations on your ‘upgrade’. So sorry this happened but what a wonderful outcome. I can completely see where/how this accident could happen. Painted surfaces will freeze sooner than the road itself and when wet are much more slick. Once that car gets moving sideways, all bets are off. Glad nobody was hurt and I hope you enjoy the 575 for years to come!!

    Jim
