Agree. At the other end, I would expect it maintains a healthy long term premium to the 599GTO for those reasons even if the official production for the GTO is lower.

Let's see what the Tdf at Russo and Steele Scottsdale auction brings tomorrow... Once again, the "highly individualized" nature of it's interior spec may hurt it's value a bit:

But if the 10% fee is not included, what is the "inc. premium"?

    in this specific reference:

    BUYERS' PREMIUM AND CHARGES
PLEASE NOTE: THE BUYER'S PREMIUM FOR THIS AUCTION IS AS FOLLOWS:

For MOTOR VEHICLE property the premium is 12% on the first $250,000 of the bid price and 10% on any amount of the bid price exceeding $250,000. Buyers are required to pay any applicable import duty, sales or use tax, as the case may be.

So the "$785,000 inc. premium" (assuming "inc." means "including", which seems reasonable) is the actual price, there is no added fee on top of that.

Correct (inc. = including or inclusive), nothing else to purchase that car, but as told by ttforcefed it was apparently in an accident (was hit) so I presume the price paid contemplated that ... so that price seems to be an outlier and not a good reference point for vehicles without blemish (I was not previously aware of its damaged condition until ttforcefed replied above).

The Quail Lodge Tdf had a Carfax that indicated "Front End Damage" but was not specific in terms of said damage. My dealer was somewhat familiar with the car and indicated that he thought the car had been sent back to Maranello for repair...

So with 10% buyer's premium that was essentially a bid of 1,017,500

It said this in the Bonhams listing and doesn't seem that bad. Photos were available for those interested.

My interoperation of the Bonhams car pricing is its probably 50% due to the damage- which -according to the representation- is very minor and completely repaired- and 50% due to the mileage which is 4,600 miles. This is not a lot of miles for a regular car, but put these two factors together and this car does not qualify for most of those who consider themselves collectors. I actually think that price is pretty encouraging when you consider these factors.

Yes but we all know here on fchat the only auction prices that are indicative of the market are the low prices and high bids.
