Did the Capristo approx. a month ago on my 15 Italia and am pleased. With a push of a button from Stock to overt continuous Race Sound. On long trips it's nice to have the stock mode for passengers. Myself have always enjoyed the rapture of music from a well tuned exhaust. I've never ever listened to the radio in any of my prior sport's cars from initial Dino thru the multi others. The Italia has NEVER had the radio on, nor will it!

How difficult is the installation of the Forza controller? This looks like the perfect solution.

    Amazingly plug and play.

Takes more time to decide where to put the controller and how to route securely the cables to the frame.

I put this behind rear bumper far away from heat and from indiscreet eyes but just because I had it removed for other reasons; otherwise I would have chosen behind left engine cover. Keep cables far away from heat and use cable ties.

It’s an amazing toy. My Speciale experience is completely different now and my neighbors fully agree with that statement when firin’ up the engine

    Enjoy!

Not difficult at all, but takes some time (hrs) if you tuck it away far.

F.i on the side of the engine compartiment.

The unit could simply be clicked on the two cables taht are controlling the valves right now.

    Only need one ground connection.

Made a very nice unit myself …. read about it in my thread Yolo :)

Took me about 6 hours to install the Forza controller in my ‘14 458 Spider.

The installation instructions strangely have a lot of “you may need to do this, but you might also be able to do that” in them. Not sure if that’s because of variances model year to model year, but I ended up wasting a bunch of time trying “easier” methods before eventually having to bite the bullet and remove the rear bumper. Once I did that, it was a snap (literally).

I put the controller unit in the area above the driver’s wheel well, and velcroed the remote control by the driver’s seat controls.

Love the end result - really brings the 458 Spider’s glorious music to life!
