Some UK dealers are accepting expressions of interest and compiling client lists. No real information other than Ferrarichat but Q3 2019 seems to be consensus from dealers and this forum. Pebble Beach launch ?
Is there a demand for it?!! LMAO. No, who would ever want a Ferrari F12 engine sound in an open top? Lol And, imagine this, it would be road legal in the USA!
Absolutely confirmed for the end of the year, but still confused about eligibility rules or not. Perhaps fer9000 could give us some indication? In any case, limited or not, I will definitely go Taylor made for that one.
I would really love to know how limited this new model will be. I have an 812 on order so wonder would I have a chance at getting one of these? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Thanks Marcel. That is great news! I had asked my dealer about a month ago and he didn’t really know but thought they would be limited. This would be the car I would keep for a very long time. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Ferrari have been holding back for too long V12 spider is desperately needed I hope it has a powered rear window like the 488 spider, would love to hear the engine roar Might end up being the hottest car in their entire portfolio ?
This will be a mainstream model, they just tried to keep everything under wraps as long as possible. When they launched the 488, they made the mistake of introducing the Spider version too quickly and nobody wanted to buy the coupé after that (it’s also a question of margins). The question is if the new model will be less “nervous” than the coupé which I still find being a problem compared with the F12. When I tried the F12 on Fiorano a few years ago, I said that the only thing missing was a hard top...
