As I dive into the fuse panel upgrade to the Scuderia Rampante version, I encounter the shown yellow & black wires.

The car has a built in radar detector and I suspect this is its wiring - I doubt it is OEM. It makes a well done connection into the OEM white connector - but the routing through the door hinge looks suspect.

Can anybody confirm that this is an OEM wire (or not) for a ‘90 US Testarossa?

As you face the fuse panel from the front, there are 3 vertically oriented white connectors on the left hand side. This wire is routed from the rightmost of the three connectors, 2nd wire up from the bottom.

I believe it could be courtesy light.

    Ah! Makes sense.
I’ll bet you are right. On the fusebox door.

    Will check tomorrow

Yes, the schematic indicates that the yellow wire comes from the "second wire" from the bottom of the c connector (which is the third position from the bottom of the c connector as the bottommost position has no wire), passes thru a 2-pin connector, and goes to the "front bonnet light" (goes +12V whenever the parking lights are "on"). The black wire (ground) should be originating from the b connector.
