    Senna? Schumacher?? LOL

Seriously though, it's hard to say he isn't the GOAT, but just like racing,
guys competed in different times, with different rules in different cars.

If a QB like Bradshaw or even Montana were in their prime TODAY with the
rules as they are now, I wonder what their stats and records would be?

BTW: Last week the Raiders reduced the price of the PLS's for season tickets and are issuing refunds to anyone who already got them. The price is going down about 25%. Hard to believe this is a "positive".

Yikes. WTF? Are they not selling them out? Maybe they should stay in OAK, and have Chargers move to LV. With all the tourists in Vegas, it should be easy for Bolts to attract the huge # of opposing fans they've come to expect!

I think you guys may be on to something with the college football angle. NYC has as many pro sports options as LA, but supports the Jets and Giants. Lord knows why though! But, college football ain't a big thing in NY, at least not when I lived there...T

cannot stand another coronation for saint bradybelichick but have to admit they are best ever. belichick took the chiefs offense to the woodshed. mahomes never got going even with the few bombs he connected on. they were completely outplayed.

anyone who wonders who goat is should ask themselves who they would pick if they could choose anyone if starting an alltime team. brady is the obvious 1st choice. no one else ever played at such a high level for so long. not even my fav mj.

everyone is going crazy on refs for the saints mistake but how about the phantom roughing penalty for brady?! they would've lost without that call. typical

I rarely watch, so I'm safe from bias - but officiating was one catastrophic failure after another. That's that.

    -

    Mahomes really, really impressed me.

Good zip & no-look for good measure & haven't seen one get airtime quite like that during throws since Broadway Joe's heyday. Ah, youth!

For essentially being a rookie, Mahomes was very impressive. In addition to the plays mentioned above, the sidearm throw to avoid the blitzing Patriot was a thing of beauty. He didn't wilt under the pressure. He made mistakes, but heck even Brady did. 2) should have been 3) picks for TB12....T

People bring up Brady has Bellicheck, and vice versa. One wouldn't be a great without the other. Etc. Valid points. However, Montana - who in my opinion is the only other contender for GOAT - had Bill Walsh. Walsh was not only a great coach, but a great innovator. Second only to Tom Landry (sorry Ace! ) Additionally, Montana had Jerry Rice to throw to, who was not too shabby a receiver. I think Brady had Randy Moss as a team mate for a few years? Finally, as I recall - apologies, I was a lowly Jets fan back then - the Niners D was perennially strong, no?
Pats D has been good, but not too caliber for much of Brady's run, especially the second half of it.

If you bought a PSL (personal seat license) they will refund about 25% on the CC automatically from the announcement I saw. You can check online.

I dont care for new new yorkers, i am a california kid myself, but i
will say new york pro sports fans are far more supportive year in and
year out than any california team except one - OAKLAND Raiders!

missed calls and bad calls affected both teams, people only remember the
ones in the last 5 minutes.

joe willy would get smashed in todays game.

i think belicheck outplans and outschemes walsh walsh by a ton,
when you consider walshs teams stayed largely intact, whereas belicheck
    has different players every year.

No I had to miss my appointment for the PSL. I was stuck in Idaho working and I have asked several times to reschedule it to no avail.

Quick question. In the "Memo" section of your check for the PSL, did you write

    Go Lions!

If so, might be why they're playing it cool with you.

Montana won two super bowls long before Rice got there

Walsh has a coaching tree that still has coaches to this day, and invented an offense (west coast offense) that is/was used widely across the league

Yep. Reid was the qb coach under Holmgren who was the qb coach under Walsh. So with a stretch, Walsh and the 9ers were a part of the AFC championship game yesterday in that regard...
