We have some fantastic Neapolitan Pizza place in the PHX area. Today I tried a new one (new to me); Pizza Pomo.

Fantastic! Two pies, one with four meats and the other a Buffalo mozzarella Margherita:

What a gal! [emoji2] She'll go if I suggest it, but I don't think in 20+ years, Mrs T has said "let'***** up a hole in the wall joint!"

And for a second lunch - mashed potatoes with kale, shrooms, ginger, turmuric, garlic.
This shot before I added the last three.
(Eating several smaller meals a day as I’m still relatively close to having broken an extended fast.)

^ Aha. Fast breaking. I thought the two lunches might be from burning mega calories shoveling snow! [emoji2]

/\ A little bit of that too probably. Snow clearing was Saturday a few times. This type of fare isn’t for the initial fast breaking itslef but recovery from the fast after breaking it. At four days post, I am back to solids. I shoot to be on liquids one day, broth, jello, juice, next day soft fruits and veggies, then hearder and harder foods each day after. Little at a time and more frequently. The fast was really helpful in restoring some gut biome and health, and making some deeper old injury repairs.

Took the gf to Fogo de Chao for the first time today so she could experience a Churrascso (or at least a USA chain restaurant version thereof).

Was pretty good and I'm still full 10 hours later.

I hadn't been in over a decade....it was actually a bit better than I recall. No complaints.

Yesterday had to go back to Carolina's for more tacos (see pic in post 1651 above). And this time also got a killer Chorizo and Potato Burro. Love this place.

Chick-Fil-A - Tiny little excuse for a sandwich and half full fry container. Reminded of McDonald's, and why I NEVER go there.

    Sad.

Fogo is my favorite restaurant. We go there once a month. The Beverly Hills one is much better than DTLA, and that surprised me.

I've been to 3 different ones in Brazil and they're all twice as good as BH.

My favorite blend of soft taco filling shared with me often at lunch by my work compadres throughout much of my career.

I have to admit my first reaction to your post was “never heard of it”, but then I think I do recall driving past one once.

I did embark on a “do we have a deli anywhere close to Katz” in Phoenix quest...my findings were “no, not even close”. (And chompies didn’t even make the list of places to go try)

I’ll try to get to a chompies and let you know...

Goofed. Usually order a spicy chicken sandwich with an extra packet of sauce. Ordered a regular sandwich, so I slathered it with two packets of Texas Pete!

[emoji848] If I offer them a ride in my 911, think they'll let me go joyriding in the Chick Fil A van?!? [emoji2]

    No! [emoji51]

    The P & F cars have a non-negotiable "bottled water only" policy.
