I would really love to hear some first hand accounts of how delrin flambloc’s effect the handling, ride, feel, precision etc.

Augh, I was afraid of that. So between the ball joints and flamblocs we have all these parts that need replacing. The Hill ball joints should be one and done. But for the flamblocs, it seems an easy enough job that I would not mind changing them more often if the ride was improved. I don't think the needle bearings did any good long term because the rubber still perishes and the delrin used for challenge cars is not really practical on the street. I bet it's magic on track but not for fun on the street. So even if we come up with a softer poly or urethane I would go for simple swap outs with no bearings and use plenty of grease.

Cool! So we save the core shaft with the bolt holes and replace the outer parts?

And here's a thought: if we go without needle bearings, maybe another aluminum or SS sleeve could be used inside the bush as a shield for the bolt shaft if and when the bush perished and some metal to metal contact might occur. The sleeve would take the hit before the bolt shaft. But wait, they would have metal to metal contact from the get go. Or maybe a hard plastic sleeve? I guess anything is going to wear and it's just a question of rate. Maybe it's most efficient to go without bearings and swap for fresh ones more often?

Duh, I just realized they are already sleeved. Nevermind ;)

I’ve seen it but they’re oem rubber garbage. I have a new batch in manufacture now and will update with pix as I get them. This set will be delrin. I’ll make some poly too since there seems to be such a high demand.

Out of interest did you take the Derlin measurements from OEM bushings? I read that race teams weren't happy with them and machined their own because the Ferrari parts had too much play in them. Perhaps the roller bearings were a step to address that (or maybe the problem occured after Ferrari stopped adding the bearings).

My own measurements. I built them to tighter tolerances as well. Race bearings defeat the purpose of delrin in my opinion.

Yes this is epic. Updates appreciated. After my Lite TBelt service last week, FoNE inspection revealed significant wear. I can confirm from 6 years underneath my car myself. I've been lubing the ball joints and spray-nourishing the bushings as best I could, but 18 years and urban roads on a known wear item is a no brainer. Hill rescued our ball joints. We need these bushings too! Cheers.
