Beautiful car! I really envy the custom audio (would do it too if I could).
Why don't you change your exhaust tips for the OEM black ceramic painted ones? It would look so much better to continue the black/red contrast.
My dealer painted my OEM exhaust with high temperature black paint but its melting ahah, go for the OEM ceramic one, I did.

thanks. the car came with the black "sport" tips. I prefer the OEM titanium ones I bought for looks (matches the titanium lugs and valve caps) and "weight savings" :p
the audio was only done because it had the awful base system. had it been the optional upgraded system, i'd have left it OEM

I have all the same Ferrari carbon fiber you have except the B pillars and mirrors. The Ferrari Carbon Fiber is just stunning Quality. I have the Over the Parts counter Ferrari wheels. I really dig them. I havent seen another set of them anywhere? Anyone?

    Ferrari Central Florida.
I suspect Pro and I are north south neighbors.

I saw the car there June 11 2018 while picking up my FF from service. I talked to Curtis about it. He offered a drive but I was in hurry. Should have .....

Yea, LOL. It was crazy, even when I was in buying it (sitting at the desk with the salesman doing the paperwork) another guy came in and wanted to buy it and they were looking for the keys... they were in my pocket. :)

I have to say, I got it and wasn't blown away at first... it snap over steered turning left on even light throttle (there was no weight on the left rear)... it powered right on acceleration, it had positive rake on the car as well and the alignment was very pedestrian.

If you own a 458 SCALE YOUR CAR. Mine was way off but easily corrected.

I spaced the front tires out 10 mm and 15mm on the rear (12mm on front was way too much... that made it turn in real aggressive), I corrected the ride height to 1/4" of rake, scaled the car, changed the alignment to my liking, then got the tire pressures to what worked best on a cold tire 30F 28R in this case... (i dont race it but I want it to turn when its time and have a slight oversteer when you need it, you just turn harder and it will help you come around to get the nose in position) and even the Service Manager at Central Florida Ferrari agreed, thats the Best 458 he's ever driven.

The car now gives unbelievably great feel (removing the preload off the front springs, really improved its compliancy and it became more forgiving) and getting the corner weights correct made the car predictable and suddenly there was no drama if you powered out of a parking lot. The car is a dream now and the best 458 I've driven (I've only driven 3 though...LOL).

If you own a 458 put it on some scales and adjust the car in... it really responds to adjustments and will do whatever you dream. Very happy with the car.

When I took delivery look how high the nose was? Look how far in the rear tires were... I knew it was leaving some handling on the table... so I did all the things above to correct that car and couldnt believe how well it responded to changes. I wish my other race cars would respond so well. A stunning piece of machinery.

Congrats on the car. Had I known about all the carbon when I saw ok thank you - I would have pulled the trigger

You are correct about the stance. I’ll ask Dave when I get mine.

In the meantime, I hope to see you and your car at one of the local car things. Are you in FCA?
