she looks great..
When my car was in for its annual service, Miller Motorcars told me the best thing for the 488 is to drive it regularly to keep the battery charge, so I am doing my best to comply! The roads were clear and dry today so despite being a little cold, I got the 488 out for a good run today to get the oil fully up to temperature and the battery charged. Wat to go Joe... Nice to see your taking the 488 out. It’s been raining in Ft. Lauderdale for 5 days... 458 is tucked away in the garage.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Let me know when your visiting down to South Florida again. We can meet up.... Ray, Image Unavailable, Please Login
I am finally getting around to making the 488 and Z06 garage bay a little nicer. It took me a while to decide what I wanted for the flooring, and decided to go with these Premium Indoor / Outdoor Carpeted Floor Tiles. I am really happy with the way it came out as it keeps floor a little warmer and helps to deaden the sound in the garage. I still need to do some finish work on the edges, but step 1 of the project is almost complete. So now the 488 has a heated, cooled, and carpeted home. https://www.garageflooringinc.com/carpet-tile/premium-ribbed-carpet-tile.html Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Joe, It must be torture reading about us Floridians posting our daily rides. I’ve had my Spider out almost every day since December. Seems you guys can barely catch a break! I’m sure your time is coming. Love your car, I’ll eventually be ready for a 488 if I can part with my beloved 458. Spider is the way to go down here. Cheers!
Joe that 328 in a lot of your pictures looks like a poor photoshop job. The 328 seems tiny compared to the new Ferrari models! Anyway, thanks for sharing your beautiful Rosso Corsa 488 spider journey here.
It is amazing how the Ferrari's have grown over time. The 328 belongs to my friend Dean and is pushing over 80,000 miles. It is driven often, well loved, and owned by a true enthusiast.
It sure is. The family and I are actively looking for a vacation / winter home in the Ft. Lauderdale area. We made an offer on one a few weeks ago, but it was not meant to be. We are getting close and once we finally get a house, the 488 will travel south for the winter.
Joe, Last few days have been sunny with clear sky’s here in South Florida... Love to see your 488 Spider in FT. Lauderdale.... Ray,
I missed you when I was down in February. Unfortunately my wife was sick and stuck in bed most of the time we were there. I was not able to break away from the kids to get down to meet up with you or my buddy who is up in Jupiter for the winter. Next time for sure!
Sorry to hear your wife was not feeling well. No worries Joe we will catch up next time your down... Took my 458 Spider in today for its yearly service and while at the dealer I test drove a 488 Spider. I have to say it’s was awesome... Faster acceleration and I love the deep throttle. I as very impressed... Handling was more responsive too.. I think I’m now hooked for a 488 Spider.... Anyway, see you next time your down in sunny Ft. Lauderdale....
It is coming up on almost two years of ownership. 2019 was problem free with the 488 Spider and enjoyed good Sunday drives almost every week of the year. We are up to 1,200 miles and Miller Motorcars just completed the annual service on the car. In addition to the annual service they were able to perform both outstanding recalls: 1) replacement of the fuel vapor separator and 2) replacement of the passenger side airbag.
