Have you been repeatedly sent ads or noticed F cars for sale for years?

What is wrong with the car or ad that prevents a sale?

Has the seller ignored the market changes or something else?

Please post a link to the ad your referring to.

When I was shopping for my car, I saw some of the same cars on the market for over a year or even 2-3.
I think it came down to inflexibility to negotiate. The ones I spoke to wouldn’t budge a penny. Sometimes I would see the car disappear from the dealer and then reappear at another dealer a hundred miles away....for almost the exact same price.

Gullwing has cars still from 2015 time frame

I would say at least 10-12 Ferrari’s in particular

He bought in the rising market, and now they’ll sit and wait for the next I suppose.

One reason and one alone: Seller refuses to budge on a price that is above market.

Of course! You KNOW what your car is worth and it gives the convenience of blaming someone else when it doesn't sell..

In the ad. There was no vehicle history or VIN shown. That causes me to just move on. I don't have time to chase an owner who doesn't post that info.

Gotcha, the VIN is posted in the ad, as well as "we have records" etc. but you mean, if they don't actually take a photo of the VIN on the car, and photo's etc of a layout of the paperwork, then it's a NoGO. That makes sense, I would probably do the same, because like you say, you've gotta then run them down for pics of all that. Kinda lame of their part, it's pretty easy to take good photos and just be 100% up front.

Here’s an ad for a 612 that Cargurus says has been for sale for 4 years by the same dealer.

    https://www.prestigeimport.com/2006-Ferrari-612/Used-Car/GrandRapids-MI/6103189/Details.aspx

I actually think it is longer because i remember the car when i was searching for my 612 about 5 years ago. Nothing has changed on it and the mileage is the same. So what gives? Here low mileage would be a curse. Would you want to buy a car that has not moved from a dealer’s showroom in 5 years?

It can take some time to sell a Ferrari.... even a nice one that is priced in line with market conditions. If I was shopping, it wouldn't bother me a bit to inquire about a car that had been on the market for a year or more. There are so many other indicators of value. I believe the $250K and up cars could easily take a year or more to sell to the right buyer.
I can speak from personal experience, having sold a 308 GTB, 330 GT, 250 GTE and 365 GTC/4 over the past 20 years.
