Meanwhile it’s official the drivetrain ofthe 488FL will be V8TT. No Hybridisation.
Sorry for the post some weeks ago. I was fooled by false Information from a dealer.
Exterior will be closer to Pista, interiors almost unchanged, steering wheel 812...
Since Ferrari describe their future portfolio being complemented by refreshed former heroes (see Monza), I believe the BB of the 488 will be a revival of the F40. Hybrid with V8 TT plus electrical driven front axle. Power rating around 850hp +/-50 seems to be reasonable.

Correct, all our dealers were this week at the intro in Maranello indeed … but do not tell us anything ...

    WM458 is right.
My dealer said me the same. All of us had the only question - Hybrid YES/NO and after the meeting he texted me NO HYBRID!

You have a knack for not reading the thread and asking questions that are pretty much always off base/target.

The so-called Big Brother is a NEW model to the line-up. Its not replacing anything in the current line-up.

At the risk of being rude, are you trolling us?

You have a knack of asking simple questions that have been covered in the thread already and often presuming the wrong thing when asking questions and end them with "the car is XYZ, right?". You are here and participating, so you seem to have the time to read it...no way are you consistently getting the wrong presumption when you ask these simple (well covered) questions. What gives?

Covered in the thread many times.

Covered in the thread, many times.

Sometimes it is better to not bother with answering "stupid" questions. Maybe then such person will stop asking again and again.

Back to the topic. We need some pictures now. Online reveal in 2-3 weeks?

    From Maranello presentation:
    Portofino-style front
812-style rear end with 4 tale lights
    812 steering wheel
    Same interior
V8TT without hybrid, but no specs

    PS Maybe 4WS?

New to the thread! Yes, I also concur, the interior has not changed since the 458 in 2009 and looks dated compared to competitors. A little lazy and risky by Ferrari?

New steering wheel makes me wonder if its gone electric steering with the new SSC system thats intergrated the esteering into it, much like the 812SF?

Dunno why people are disappointed with the level changes mentioned above, as far as a facelift goes its more than I was expecting.

Yeah, similar confirmation from dealer. Likely going McLaren 7xxLT now... Bit sad, will wait for Geneva though, not far away.

The steering wheel has nothing to do with the rack. That said, it is more than likely that the new car will adopt EPAS.

Not only ! you need to have a global harmony, and not some pieces of differents cars in one car !!!
Caricatural design still remains a bad design...
Pista is a good design, FL isn t too impersonnal
