Requesting help locating a blower motor for a Dino GTS (#05686). Any help would be appreciated as I can't pin-point a part number one way or another. There are numbers stamped onto the motor itself but I haven't been able to come up with anything.

    Thanks in advance.

photo looks like the heater fan assembly. Blower for the smog stuff is attached to the alternator?

Air pump assembly is pretty much a needle in a haystack, although, I think I saw a thread here recently where somebody had one lying around.

looks like someone added an inline fuse as well. I am 99% sure that's not original to the assembly.

That must be the air condition fan motor and / or the fan it self we are talking about or ????

Hmmmm . . . might need to look at the parts book a little more closely. What I'm thinking is maybe your car doesn't have the original part installed?

Do you have the motor, or the entire blower assembly? I don't know if they're different but your car is US spec with A/C?

It is US Spec with a/c spec. This car's a mess....

Pull it off, take it to a motor guy, get it rebuilt. Might be easier in the long run, and cheaper too. Tell him it came off a FIAT.

Looks like that's our only option.

I might have some odds and ends you could use. I had gaskets custom made for the A/C, they are otherwise unobtanium. Interested? I'll go look in the parts box.

I think I have an oil temp sender, a thermostat, some other odds and ends.

Let me know if you'd like me to dig around.

Looks like the motor in the parts manual. Maybe an early version. My '74 has a Spal motor.

T Rutlands had something laying around as well and hooked us up. For what it's worth, I'll update this thread when the job is completed.

You for sure need a new fan housing as well from looking at the picture. The old plastic is crisp like chips and will shatter when you start to take the motor of. It should be possible to find some SPAL replacement parts that might fit with a little twist.

    Best regards Peter

I know of a source that makes fiberglass housing replicas. PM if interested.

    No.

    Other parts, this one, not.

If that were the case I could have sent a PM, and not render it public.

    Do you need one?

    Regards, Alberto
