Well according to my research Ferrari is the best tasting brand.

As it comes to cars, Ferrari are second to none. They have a real "DNA". Brand power is less important to me. Only car factor.

Because, unlike you, I buy and like all brands and interested to see what Ferrari has coming to try and get me to buy another.

I'm sorry to say that, but if you buy and like all brands, you have not specifically developed taste.

:D I don't care about wardrobe as much as cars. But even with clothing, if you like everything, there is a chance you don't match parts very well. Nothing much to say. Let's get back to the topic.

Still hoping you can explain your statement.

So unless you only like Ferrari you have no taste?

I cannot see that I used word "Ferrari" in my quoted post. Don't try to skew the logic. Start thinking about the topic.

But if one has owned Ferrari, Lambo, Mac or other brands...I would say they have developed tastes, because it's based upon fact/ownership. One gets to know what is good or bad that way. If you only drink one drink, you never know if any others taste good.

    YMMV.

I too thought about Ferrari's as a kid...and bought one when I grew up. Also thought about Lambo as kid--Miami Vice anyone. Bought one.

Also now grown up, have also thought and bought other brands that I think are actually great CARS not just great (brand) names.

Don't conflate the two. Ferrari is certainly a highly recognized brand (name). No doubt.

Diversity is the key to happiness in (car) life.

Looking forward to 488 replacement and seeing what Ferrari does to catch up with other brands.
Hope they make it appealing so they can earn my business again.
Competition is a great thing and keeps (all) brands on their toes.
Bring on BB--should be great to see.

    Oh dear :D.

Back to the topic. There are chances that new model revealed in Geneva will not be called another 488 ... We know that it is supposed to have 720hp(cv) ... but it is quite unlikely :D to wear a name "720" ;). Probably the engine's capacity will not change so name will have to follow a different scheme. Maybe from another place in Italy like Portofino? Any other ideas?
PS. Portofino etc is too relaxed and names like this should be reserved for GTs. Monza has been taken lately by SP1/SP2 812 . What a pity.

Hopefully they come out with something more than 720HP...that 720 ship sailed years ago.

I would expect to see at least 750-780HP to remain competitive. As that is what Mac 7XXLT will have minimum when it's announced later this year (maybe).

What is the V6 model suppose to have and what is BB rumored to have?

I haven't seen any HP speculation. BB is supposed to be a turbo-hybrid V8 with better performance than LaF, and I would expect the V6 turbo-hybrid to be an incremental improvement over the turbo V8 "facelift" car.
