512TR (Euro) with 29k miles for $125k here....
That's just the opening bid. Car is at a dealer but ad sounds like it is a private party. Maybe it is a consignment thing? Listed at 142,500 Euros on their website. About $161,000. http://www.gallery-aaldering.com/collection/ferrari-512-tr-only-48-012-kms-en/

Obviously. No reserve though and no bids at the time of writing. Moreover, if 512TRs are being listed at $161k then why do people think they can sell Testarossas at the same price?
All of the current buyers of these cars should keep in mind they have tremendous bargaining power right now on these cars as the market is definetly soft and is a good time to buy. Just wait for a realistic seller and ignore all of the scammers or dealers who don’t clearly know or care what the market is today. Many are still living in the past hoping and preying for a sucker. But if the pool of buyers don’t budge much off of the current comp prices then in the end will not be over paying. We all have a vote here. We all vote with our dollars what something is worth. If you ignore the current comps and overpay that does scew the market somewhat which I don’t believe is good. Just pay what it’s worth no more no less. I still like to compare this to when a new model car comes out like for example the zo6,zr1 and the dealers mark up their cars 30-50k. You ask them why and they say because Of the supply and demand. You wait a couple of months and now they have a hard time selling them without a significant discount lol. This just illustrates why you never get caught up in this kind of buying behavior unless you like throwing away money or like being taken advantage of.

https://www.classicandsportscar.com/features/buyers-guide-ferrari-testarossa Here’s a good buyers guide that is recent and also has pretty accurate value guide as well. Good all around info.
https://www.artcurial.com/en/node/1113506 Is it this one, if so, it would be nice to add that yes not perfect but it’s pretty special since it’s the first one ever produced which gives it in parts such value! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
But again do you realize how special this car is? The first one ever made, presented at Paris auto show in 84 etc, it’s no ordinary TR. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It is believed to be the first production car. Can you tell me how to find out that regarding these cars have a 'modern' production line?
The Classiche Certificate does not say it is the first production car. But for sure this car is the Paris show car.
I have added it to the spreadsheet (even though I only have American cars on it) it only brings the average over 40 cars to 104k USD. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/90-000-free-delivery-1989-testarossa-red-tan-34-200-mi.594149/ Pretty good deal for sale by one of fchats sponsor. I assume it could go to 85k-88k, since it’s offered at 90k. It has a capristo and seems to be serviced. Not affiliated at all with yellow compass nor with the car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well if u see how much people paid at Barret Jackson that’s pretty decent...what’s the point in a very low mileage 30 year old car If one is not going to drive it? It becomes a piece of art that you look at. For me the idea TR has an extensive service history and has say 15k mike so you can put some more without being too worried...at the end of the day we can’t take the cars with us 6feet under. That 34K TR was just lowered to $82K today .............. Also for anyone interested, there is a 1992 Red / Tan 512TR with 52K miles for $115K at the FCA Classifieds site.
Yes mike is an interesting sales person Then he will raise it back up to 105 lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He tries to be creative with his pricing which is a good thing. He seems like a good guy overall from the limited interactions I have had with him.
After an exhaustive search I have quite a bit more than $104k in my 90 TR. Course it is showroom new with 7k miles, multiple engine out services and every single thing promptly sorted as part of a meticulous collection. I will not garage queen it however. Just wanted low miles and new condition to enjoy like I bought it new ;-)
