I've recently put the Indy car on the market and will eventually move to either a big sports car or a DFV F1 car.

So what are you bringing to PI?

 

The Indy car, I'll probably just use it at PI from here till it sells. Chevron isn't here yet and in any case is going to need a thorough going over before it's used in anger. Hasn't been driven for 10+ years.

 

Great day with DMWC today getting the car ready for Phillip Island next weekend. While bleeding the brakes, David noticed that the pedal was quite loose. It pivots on a 1/4 inch bolt, when I pulled it out was quite worn down. Fitted a new one and the brake feel is transformed - no more play to take up. I've never been 100% confident with the brakes so very happy to find a simple fault.

I didn’t make it to Mardi Gras this year or the after party
Ian seemed genuinely surprised when I told him about a friend of mine who visited the urinal at the after party one year and suffered from stage fright when one of the party guests (whose nick name was trough man) had positioned himself in the urinal

A mate of mine came across (so to speak) a very well known journalist lying in the trough at a night club in Melbourne back in the day. The club owner assigned a minder for him. He was well known for his alcoholism too.
