    Well shoot. Just saw this. I got there at 130pm. Enjoyed the afternoon. Rookie Marcus Ericsson with a strong pace, almost like he has driven the track before. 1:48 was best time I saw, it will be interesting to see how much faster they can get by March 24th (track record 1:37 by some Brit-German-Austrian racing team).

    I'm not worried about lap times. The cars have less power, less tire, less downforce. They aren't going to be as fast. What they tend to provide better than Formula 1 does is entertainment. I am very excited to see how this season goes as I think a lot of people have a chance to win.

    Completely agree. The speeds are sufficiently fast and I just want to see good racing. Some familiar F1 names on the grid might draw some cross-pond interest, show what entertaining open-wheel racing might be at a fraction of the cost (Not that I'm suggesting F1 go spec).
