    2005 Ferrari F430 PPI Report (19700 miles)
    - Very nice car overall
    - 91% clutch life left
    - Front and rear brakes at 80% left
    - Tires are good
    - Tow hooks and air pump no tools
    - Driver side front suspension has a rattle over rough road
    - Power steering pump is seeping
    - Valve covers are barely starting to show signs of seeping
    - Drivers window loose on regulator
    - Left inner tail light loose
    - Hair line cracks on the left rocker and front left bumper
    - Missing right corner engine bay cover
    - Radio inoperative

Before the PPI, the Dealer said they already gave me enough discount so they will not lower the price by much, maybe few hundreds at the most, unless something major wrong.

I'm about to make final talk with the dealer, and any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Dealer agreed to fix driverside suspension rattling, driver side loose window, and loose tail light. Deal has been made, and I will be picking up my life dream first Ferrari this Saturday:)

Good stuff.. Congrats...Couple of thoughts from owning a few of these cars... though not a current F430 owner, they can chime in on specifics - if I got anything wrong below (I have an F12 currently not an 430)

Tools you can by on line check a few of the normal sites like ebay, etc., and sometimes can snag a good deal - if you want, likely wont use, but nice for eventual resale. Get a cover as well, if you are in a place where you might not drive it, and just sitting in your garage (I put mine on during winters).
Get a charger/batter tender as well - while you are at it - Ctek makes a good one (I think I have the 7002 or latest, great charger maintains the battery well)

Good body shop should be able to help with the hair lines.. Or if it doesn't bother you, leave 'em and enjoy.

Right corner engine bay - same as the tools comment above, look around might be able to find a used one and put it back on. also after market options like Carbon fiber if you want to dress up the engine bay a bit.

Radio - don't know if I have ever turned any of mine on while driving, but lots of options there if you want. You can go after market, put in lasers detectors at the same time, etc. etc. (Get a batter tender) Some aftermarket radios tend to draw phantom power, draining your battery.

Power steering and Valve covers starting to seep a bit - if you live in a winter state with snow and such, might take care of this now while you cant / wont likely be driving it until spring.. Will give you some some piece of mind - check in and have it done at your local indie or dealer. Likely can leave it depending on how bad. There is some dollars there for repair.. All the rest is workable you mention is pretty easy to address.

Did you get all service records, and books - and know when the last services were done, oil, etc. If not you can also have the next major and oil, etc. done if you address the other stuff (power steering pump and Valves) above addressed at the same time. Might help ensure no down time in the spring/summer.

Wow, thank you for all the great information, very helpful! I did not get all service records but they said they will give me what they have, so we will see. My heart started beating hard as soon as I finalized the deal this afternoon, very excited. I saved up years for this:) Thanks and look forward to your future advice/help!

I did not get all the service records when I purchased my F430 and 599. However if you register your car into "my ferrari" in the Ferrari.com website, it provides you some service history if it was taken to Ferrari service. For example, my F430 loads back to 2010 and my 599 goes back to 2009. Not a ton of detail on the service visit, but you can see when it went and the mileage. Also the site lists out the original specs of the car.

Yes, I bet, I actually already did the imaginary first drive from the dealer to my house in my head, and it was totally awesome. Thanks.
