I saw that yesterday. Didn't want to put it here for politics talk. Only thing I have to say about it: What absolute ****ing bollocks
Disagree. If we go no deal we revert to WTO rules which will add cost and time implications to every UK based team. Longer term it will resolve itself as these factors will be built into the budgets and programmes etc. I don’t think “people” will be the issue, but supply of goods and services both ways across our boarders will be in the short term. Time will tell, but at least we will be free.
Free of what? Free of the EU? quite naive to think this way. The UK will be loosing quite a bit more than their idea to be "free". But this discussion is of course beyond the F1 although I certainly think Toto is quite right there as most teams have their base in the UK...... Ciao Oscar
Im not going to get into a Brexit discussion (for obvious reasons). I was referring to Wolff always having way too much to say.
Horner (UK based team) said himself said they're prepared whatever the outcome is and ''just get on with it''. He didn't seem that concerned. Teams have chartered private jets before to fly a simple wing across the globe to the asian and even Australian races, so even getting parts out on a short term I hardly see an issue.

Leclerc isn't going to destroy Vettel this year. He's even struggling beat Vettel's best. He could be a champion one day, but mot this year.
Clearly Lance and Racing Point are "sandbagging" to not let the others know their real potential! Image Unavailable, Please Login
It seems like Mercedes are only running target lap times as their times have been very consistent. Ferrari on the other hand, with an unknown amount of fuel, are wringing the car out. I think Ferrari's strat is better for understanding the tires and how the car handles on the limit.
I don't think anyone said he would automatically beat Vettel. But the hope is he pushes Vettel and picks up more Team points for the Constructors. Leclerc will win some races this year.

Williams update: Car is set to arrive at the track between 4am and 5am tomorrow, meaning it is "unlikely to run before lunch"
probably right, today everything is so conected that you can't just move a piece and expect everything else will work better, it's a whole concept...and the fact that both Ferrari and alfa are running this sort of wings probably means they found a serious advantage doing so.
they look happy with their car so far...154 laps so far from Leclerc, 169 Vettel yesterday...Ferrari is getting the work in and have been the pace setters from the first time they rolled onto the track. It's looking positive so far. And with Alfa now becoming the defacto B team of Ferrari, and running a similar concept wing/car....I'm getting excited already. 12 years of disappointment. Time for us to win.
They either have it very right or very wrong. I have for their sake this wing configuration is the golden ticket. Amazing that the championship could hinge on something as simple as a design philosophy that all starts with how one edge of the front wing curves
Ferrari and Alfa are looking great so far. Merc is taking it easy again. Let's hope its not a repeat of last year where Ferrari looked great then Mercs came out swinging in Melbourne and wiped the floor with everyone
Mercedes are methodical to the final degree in testing. They rarely ever ever 'top' the time sheets. Its a process in relation to the 'long game'. On long runs they are not slow for certain. We simply do not know but there is no sense of emergency other that fed by the press. Its a touch early for that. There is alot of work to do before Melbourne and many parts that all will test. Ferrari were not slow in testing last year. Red Bull have a reliable engine so far. Is it fast??
