a version at 1/8 what a good idea, an ideal complement to go with the F40 Pocher "civil version" the only problem is that this beautiful realization of F40 LM at 1/8 is reserved for the moment in the United Kingdoms, Which is a pity.....

900£ is expensive for something Pocher quality at best...
Better wait when subscription is ended and find the complete issues for much less!

I wonder if Hachette did this F40LM.. They have been doing 1/8th models all over Europe for magazine news stand sales. What Europeans will do to get out of paying taxes is amazing:). Looks like a nice model. All the others ended up costing over $1000.00 US. White Box reissued a few of the 1/8th models fully assembled, and the 1/8th Alfa Duetto for example costs $750.00 or more depending on who you buy it from(+ VAT tax). I would say better than Pocher quality at best.

I'm tempted even though I focus on 1:18 scale models. I like the magazine idea as well. Too bad subscribing is only for UK residents:(

BTW 100 issues is about two years. So it does take a while to build the model. Anyone done this before?

I wonder what the body will be made of, the Pocher kits always looked too heavy on their suspension with their metal bodies.

At the moment subscriptions are only available in the UK.

How can you sell something on the internet nowadays and not prepare for international sales??

Agreed, but it will be cheaper to buy as a whole once that deal is over. If anyone wants a 1/8 F40 LM right now, Amalgam has one for like $11k or so. I'm not sure what it's made of (it's not sealed at least).

edit: I guess the Amalgam isn't ready yet, but it at least was on display at some auto events.

Yes, and while I'm not a fan of Amalgam.... their models are superior to the De Agostini kits/built models.

Why cheaper? If it's not easily available, I feel it will be more expensive

Cheaper because that's how it turned out for the 1/8 MP4/4 magazine build.

    40 GBP a month for 20 months. 800 GBP: https://wtf1.com/post/senna-mclaren-model-1-8/
You can get it now as 1 lot for 700 GBP: https://www.model-space.com/gb/build-the-senna-mclaren-full-kit.html

    Their 1/8 MP4/23 was 670 GBP for all 85 issues: https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/bills/article-1721181/F1-model-kit-that-goes-from-0-to-pound670.html
You can get it now as 1 lot for 650 GBP: https://www.model-space.com/gb/mclaren-mp4-23-full-kit.html

Unfortunately not. Base on the website the OP linked, it's made by Centauria maybe??? They do have a 1/8 LaFerrari with the brand Costruisci on it. You may have better luck contacting them directly: https://www.centauria.it/shop/collezioni/costruisci-ferrari/

If they don't reply, I'd try that model shop I linked (I have no affiliation to them) and see if they can source one for you as you are not in the UK and unable to subscribe. I'm still waiting for that dang 1/18 Looksmart F40 LM to go along with my 1/18 F50 GT and 1/18 288 EVO...

Nope... not easily available does not equal cheaper. It's cheaper because it is a mass market, mass produced item, made to only an OK standard of detail. Not to be considered a high end model.

These large scale kits are a mixed blessing; most of them are just enlargements of an 1:18th or 12th scale model, with a few added details. I have built the DeAg Senna Mclaren and Wolf Countach, Centauri LaFerrari, Pocher F40 and Aventador-none of these can compare to the detail of Amalgam. Currently I am building the DeAg Jaguar E type and the Hatchette Tyrrell P34 and those need added detailing as well.
