Yes, ask and demand $300+ as that would be a true bench mark, so that our under 10k mile street cars will jump to $200k [emoji23]

Not yet. I have been wheeling and dealing in the background. I have gone from 1 to 3.5 cars in the last 2 weeks [emoji2957]. Now I have one to drive F1.....One to speculate on. One that finds a new home this week and 1/2 of one to share some upside in, in the spring hopefully.

Will be down to a manageable 2.5 cars for the time being. I am out of play money and creative financing, for now.

Crazy business was booming in Jan. Best month in 20 years. This month, one of the worst, LoL. GOD keeps it interesting [emoji16]

Cool car. Raced in ‘97, ‘98, and ‘99 - 5th overall in the sprint championship the last year with a new driver.

Well there goes my statement last week that BAT doesn’t allow negative comments.

When your selling a Toyota Corolla, there are literally 100k plus potential buyers actively looking. There are probably less than 200 people nation wide looking for a 355, and maybe less than a half dozen considering a 355ch, of those, how many have their Finances prepared, and are actually ready to pull the trigger right now?
Just because it didn't sell, does not mean it's not worth much more. I think it's simply a case of there is not a buyer ready right now.
Going back to the Corolla example, you can sell one of those every weekend. It is unrealistic to think you could sell one of these every week. It's going to take a few months.

Average Ferrari sales cycle - 6mo unless ridiculously cheap. If the deal to value ratio is high, instant sale. This car actually selling for the high bid would be a deal of the century in that market. All of us would buy a fully sorted, low mileage, documented, gated 355 for $35k immediately, maybe even $60k. Even at $80k on that same car, probably would still buy it. Now it becomes a longer process than $35k - which would be instant!

On this car, like said above. Narrow market. Tough sale and really not BaT worth until it is at the 30 year mark and opens Europe back up, where they will probably race the hell out of it.

Nice car. Good history. I could not buy a car that is track only for the most part. Could drive to CC, but that is about it.

This car has been trying to sell for awhile now. This is not the first time it has been on BAT.

My personal opinion... if anyone cares... new buyer is more than likely going to store the car and look at it more than he will be driving it. Car should be restored to better condition and closer to iconic F355 challenge look.

    1. Get rid of the two tone and have the car entirely red.

    2. Paint the challenge wheels black. Preferably matte black.

    3. Get the original OMP Challenge Seats.

    4. Detail it.

    5. Present it well.

That depends on who you are. I have 2 racecars. This 355c is a great car and has not only sanctioned racecar appeal in real club racing, and vintage racing, but also for the HPDE crowd who want to show up in the coolest ride in the paddock.

BAT has a narrow set of viewers often the same ones. If you could get the word out to the right places this 355c is for sale it would be gone.

BAT is not representative of the market for cars and for sure does not represent the market for racecars. It is just another place to sell one.

What's it gonna take to get it? I'm interested, and I can guarantee it won't sit in the garage and be looked at (at least not indefinitely, provided I don't catch it on fire at the track like my gtb).
